Barry helped me thru a divorce where the other side changed lawyers numerous times, he kept me updated with what was going on and offered good advice every step of the way.

I used him for my divorce. It was a very simple divorce with no issues. It cost me well over $10,000 for a ridiculous outcome that no one wanted. Barry and his assistant Nicole are completely incompetent. They do not listen to their clients and go ahead with work you did not approve and then bill you for it. I truly cannot believe this guys is still in business. Save yourself the stress and avoid this firm.

I have worked with Barry King and Strathcona Law Group for well over a decade, both professionally and personally. Throughout all of these transactions, Mr. King and his team have proven to be experts in their field with a fierce commitment to their clients and the issue at hand. This commitment in providing excellent service is the reason my family, friends, and clients continue to use his law firm. I highly recommend Mr. King and his team to anyone needing outstanding representation. I wouldn't want anyone else looking over my affairs. Thank you, Mr. King!

On a class action case he started off well, then became rude, arrogant, and totally quit communicating. We had to go to the law society twice in order to get any performance from him. Interestingly enough he had the lawyer who was representing the client we were suing defend him in some other action against him at the law society. Apparantly that is not illegal but is it ethical? 8 years later we have all given up on him and his firm.
