I had a horrible experience with Mark Morris. Doesn't return calls and didn't complete the work that he was supposed to do. I would 100% look for another lawyer that doesn't have so much negative stuff written about him online.

Victimized due to incorrect information given by Mark's team to parties involved in my real estate transaction. Mark represents his client poorly.

He is the worst lawyer I've ever dealt with. Receptionist keeps changing, and for multiple mistakes that he made, he blamed the receptionists. Mark and his staff destroyed my original documents, and his reponse was deny, deny, and don't respond to client. He is unethical, and will bankrupt you.

This was my worst experience ever! The only time I got a timely reply from the lawyer/owner was the first time when he was trying to recruit business. Everything after was a mess. We met at the Richmond Hill office a few days prior to closing and there was no privacy at all. We waited for 45 minutes because the documents were not ready. There was another lawyer at the office and he didn’t even bother to greet us. After the clerk did the paper work he just stamped. Then they messed up with the date of closing and they blamed on the fax being unclear. On the day of closing they had no idea when the key to the apartment was. They said they would call me about the key and I had never heard from them after. I had to make so many phone calls and finally I got the key from the builder 3 days after closing. Terrible service. Will not recommend Axess to anyone. Painful!

Wow. He made endless mistakes. I hate writing negative reviews. He made a mistake when our house closing official got bumped a few days due to a city inspection of the property. The owner had to fix something, so the closing got moved a few days. He didn't tell the bank. The bank blamed him. He blamed the bank. I have no idea who was really at fault, but we ended up having to pay for receiving the mortgage funds earlier than the official close. THEN, (and this is why i'm writing) It took something like 6 years after my house closed to finally discharge it properly! He missed something and the old owner was still on title. I don't even know if that's the right term. When I went for my mortgage renewal (5 years later), the BANK notified me my title was not clean. It then took another 8 months or so for him to fix his error. He initially waived his fee on the first error, but i still had to pay the interest on the mortgage. I can't recommend this lawyer based on my experience. sorry.

I have utilized other law firm, but this one offered me service different from others. Mr Mark Morris and his supportive staff Nadine Upton and Kate Lefevbre have answered my calls and emails on a timely basis. Overall they have provided me good value with a real estate transaction. I am satisfied and will certainly use their services in the future. Please remain affordable to the general public.
