Well, I was charged for sexual assault because of a false allegation made by a young patient at work. I was devastated; did not know what to do. Upon internet research, I first went to another lawyer in Downtown but did not connect well with him. Thereafter, I was referred by a friend to Mr. Brian Brody.
He may seem to have a rough and tough personality, but he does have a heart. My journey with him was a long one due to the pandemic, court closures etc. I found him quite knowledgeable, he also discussed with his peers regarding certain key issues in front of me, and he worked on my case in all totality. As a result he was fully prepared, confident and focused on nothing else but win the case for me & my family.

Brian helped me get off of a refusal case. I was devastated, I was so scared that I would get a criminal charge that would affect my future. So I decided to investigate in past cases on canlii.org like mine and I came across an old case of his. I went in and saw him shortly afterwards (also shopped around at other firms but I believed that he was the best, and I was right)
Brian has a particular way of approaching cases, he is brutally honest when it comes to talking about the case but that is what you need to win the case. He will tell you things you won’t want to hear and he might even tell you that you are stupid but what he won’t do is lead you don’t a road of false hope. Brain was able to reduce my charges down to a careless which is hard for refusals.
IF you want to win your cases then get Brian, like I said he may come off sometimes harsh and somewhat offensive, but he gets it done and that is what matters. He will fight and he will win like he did for me. Thank You Brian.

Terrible - took my money - did nothing - asked to do a 11B application before trial (He is the one who adjourned) and then swore at me when I asked him what was going on. After losing the 11B application, he told me I have no choice but to plead guilty. This was after over $11,000.00. He charged me $1500 for the 11B application hearing , a waste of time and something he wanted. Jeff Mass assigned my case to him. They should have just told me to plead guilty on the onset- I gave them the disclosure. Terrible.

I was referred to this office by another lawyer who thought this office would be better suited to help me. I left a message for Brian Brody and he called me back the next day. We talked in detail and at length about my case. He told me why he was interested and he just wanted to look at my documents to make sure that he felt the case would be a good one to take. He told me if everything checked out he would email me the attorney client agreement. I emailed him everything he asked for and confirmed with him that he got it. It has been over two weeks and he has not returned any calls, texts, or emails. I was really hoping that these guys were different, or that they would have the decency to say that they would not take my case. If you are in need of honest help, and a firm with good communication please keep looking. During this pandemic your time and money are too important to waste on people who don't understand that.

Brian Brody is everything the reviews portray him to be and more. He is transparent, reliable, flexible, determined, and most importantly a realist. He tells it like it is, so when he is speaking, you better listen and take notes. I owe everything to this man because he acted not only as my lawyer, but a true friend. After my DUI I was a complete wreck. I couldn’t eat, sleep or think straight. I truly thought my life was over. A criminal record would mean a lifetime of consequences for me. Mr. Brody was there to lift me up, convince me that good people make mistakes too, and NEVER mentioned money outside our initial conversation/agreement the first time we met. I got charged with possession w/ intent to traffic, failure to remain and over 80 . Mr. Brody worked very fiercely, devotedly and tactfully to not only make sure I was fully informed , happy and comfortable but he also absolutely wnet over and above in my defence to get my off my charges and only a careless. Well, how to began with....Getting a DUI is never a pleasant experience, but with that being said, the decision to enlist "BRIAN BRODY" as my attorney was the best decision that I could have made. He doesn't "sugar coat" and give false hope but instead fights to give his clients the best outcome! I highly recommend him. He is well worth the cost, with Brian representing you, you will never feel like just a number, he takes pride in what he does and does it very well. I can't say enough...Even though I blew three times more than the legal limit, My DUI charges were dropped and I didn't even have to go through the court trial. Brian went as far as wiping my police records including fingerprints and mug shots clean from the RCMP database. Thank you Brian for everything.

Professional, good analytic skills, realistic in looking over your case. Our aim was to get the crown down to a summary assault. The arrest happened outside a nightclub. Really dumb situation to have put myself in. Brian worked hard to prove that the witness accounts were unreliable. Once we’d thoroughly gone through them and all the other evidence he was sure we had reasonable doubt. He bent the crown’s ear and they agreed to settle. Avoiding a criminal record was a fantastic outcome. I’ve certainly learned my lesson.
