I believe that Ms. Cashin never had my best interests at heart. It was about the interests of the other party. I got the feeling that Ms. Cashin's idea to make as much money as possible in our process was in direct opposition of my trying to save money. Ms. Cashin never really understood that my wife and I just wanted to divide our assets in an amiable and rapid manner.

One of the best experiences through the heart breaking process of separation/divorce was meeting Deni Cashin. Her compassion and clarity helped me navigate through a variety of unaccustomed language and processes to be able to think clearly. I felt empowered by her encouragement and appreciated her input when things could have gone sideways. Her thoroughness and availability helped me stay calm and focused on the bigger picture and helped me through this with the least amount of negativity that is possible in this very trying situation. I was very glad to have her on my team.

You would think for $400+/hr that you would get something in return. Someone I know is subject to an 18+ month divorce with no great fight or assistance from this lawyer. More than $40k has been paid with nothing to show. The only consistent thing that Deni has accomplished is manage to get away several times during this process. She has no back bone, no force to get each step in a divorce process done in a timely manner. I feel that she works for the other team as the delays get longer and the money grows in her pockets. To surmise, if this Deni were a criminal attorney my friend (innocent) would be compared to the world’s worst criminal, held without bail, forgotten in the system and probably shipped off to god knows where before this Deni could get her defense together-it’s all about draining the victims bank account so that they don’t have a chance in hell to get a new start in life that they deserve. So if you value your money, health and sanity don’t choose this women or firm.

Deni was my sole attourney through my separation and divorce. It only took as long as it did because my ex went through 2 lawyers, then self represented himself. Deni was thorough, communicated very well what the applicable law was, even though I had my own preconceptions about the process. She positively reinforced application of the law and cited prior cases for each different issue we had. She is not just a money taker, she truly is after what is in the best interests of the most important aspect of her high conflict cases such as mine: the children. The wording on two of the orders she processed was less than what it should have been for MEP, and the like, BUT if it wasn't for Deni's guidance, I definitely wouldn't be as far ahead 4 years after my separation as I would have had without her counsel!!! With Deni's guidance and support I am now self representing myself in court proceedings, cutting down on my legal bills because of her insistance that I am able to handle it myself.
