I have used Scott and his firm now for almost a year. He has always been very honest and straight to the point with me about my family law case. Scott has always been extremely reliable, I always know if I have a question or concern he will have a answer for me right away and has always been there front and center when a appearance is scheduled do to meetings and court. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know looking for a lawyer.

I couldn’t have come across a better Attorney for my Family Law case. I have used Scott now for over a year and he has gone above and beyond for my case. At just 5 months old he was able to obtain me custody of my Son. Scott has never led me in the wrong direction and I would highly recommend him

You have to be out of your mind to hire this guy. This guy will string you out never return a phone call after he gets your money. He forgets to file required documents he has no staff and he is a scam artist. This guy has caused our company over 20000.00 thousand dollars not to mention the thousands of dollars we paid him to do next to nothing. His day is coming

Wow, I don't know where to start, he dragged me out for over two years and I literally got nowhere, he is rogue, he's understaffed, his webpage is even a lie, the picture of his staff comes up lagrange park Indiana Illinois look at the flag in the background, communication is absolutely horrible, missed and or inaccurate filings, this guy is a nightmare.

you want a pit bull who knows when to back off and when to fight based on your best interest, then Hire Scott. I have used his services at least 5 times since 2000 and have never been disappointed. there are some issues attorney's cant fix if you have mucked up so badly. he will tell you the truth and hat he can honestly do to help or not. he has handled divorce, custody, IRS issues, tax issues and a job related issue. Extremely knowledgeable on all of the issues I gave him to help with. There was an issue he told me the best scenario was a bad outcome but that was a consequence for something I did.....not his fault. But Im glad I knew where I stood honestly......

Horrible, horrible attorney. Had to fire him. My new lawyer said my divorce settlement was so bad he was dismayed. I lost my only chance to get my ex to share college costs as a result. To make matters worse, Scott Lautner often does not show up in court, causing delays. he messed up my child support as well. Don't waste your money on his incompetence. He's nothing more than a money hungry jerk. Please avoid at all costs - especially in matters of family law. The worst part of all is he couldn't care less about his clients and takes no pride whatsoever in his work. Don't deal with this jerk..you'd be better off representing yourself with free advice found on Google.

I too, had this attorney on retainer for a few years. He did very little work and I got the distinct impression that he does not care about the client, only wants to get paid and get free publicity in the news media with your case. Avoid at all costs!

I had this attorney for years (because one I signed on with him I was trapped). He is a Rogue Attorney that does what he wants and in his own good time. He's incompetent. He NEVER returns phone calls and Never calls you either before or after a court proceeding where he has represented you in your absence. He fails to do what he is told to do when he's directed to do so. He thinks he knows everything but he knows only how to screw you out of more money (time after time). He screwed up my divorce so badly I had to end up resolving the case between my ex-wife and her attorney. He screwed up my child custody case by not filing any paperwork for months even after a sexual assault occurred with my daughter. He could not negotiate the terms of my visitation - Again, I did this through my ex-wife and her attorney. He could not even successfully argue child transportation. This guy only knows how to send you a bill month after month. I ended up firing his sorry butt. Bad, Bad, Bad Attorney!!!
