Just don't! Very Disappointed... You'd be better to go with John Tait, her buddy (he fought for my ex and he came out much further ahead than I did) or Matthew Brandon from Surrey, he has an even better reputation. All the Best!

I have used Cristen throughout my divorce and recently for spousal and parenting time reviews. My ex-partner hired a fancy Vancouver lawyer to have spousal and child support removed. Cristen ensured we went to mediation first before the case was brought to court. She worked hard to keep my legal costs low by avoiding playing the other lawyers games... this is very important when you're dealing with an ex-spouse who is hell bent on bankrupting you. Cristen and her team kept things sane and was able to calm the dialogue between both parties, unlike the fancy-pants lawyer from Vancouver. Cristen was able to out fox the other lawyer by utilizing her 2 decades of experience. Cristen doesn't mess around and seek to antagonize the opposition, she instead provides counsel and mediation throughout all the correspondence. I would suggest using those lawyer if you need to save money, time and stress. Brilliant!!

Cristen operates her practice with integrity, professionalism and efficiency. Her response time and communication is quick and on point. In comparison to my previous lawyer, she goes above and beyond. She got things done in my family case and worked out a better agreement. She's personable and cares about her clients but when she gets to work, she gets things done. She's got a tenacious side to her. She operates with professional knowledge and grit and draws on her years experience. I highly recommend and refer people to her.

I was very fortunate to find Cristen Gleeson . She went 110 in my interest ,dealing with a very complicated divorce case . She is very knowledgeable and kept the process going completing the tasks at hand in a timely professional manner. She considers you as family and looks at what is best for you and your future. I used Ms.Gleeson as have some of my acquaintances and we all feel like at the end of the day she does whats best for her. We are all $20,000-$40,000+ in the hole and some of us are still fighting battles with our exes 2-5 years later! She over charges and my separation agreement was crap.....it was missing a ton of details and dollar amounts etc.

Cristen was the best thing that could have happened to me. During this difficult process of splitting assets and funds she helped me keep the emotions separate and the task at hand up front. she helped us settle our matters in an unbelievable time frame. I never thought I would be in this place in my life, going through divorce. I had no intentions of retaining a lawyer, but unfortunately things had gotten really bad with my ex. I met with one lawyer and did not feel comfortable that she could deal with the issues of my divorce properly. I later met with Cristen and knew right away that I could trust her to handle my case. Cristen is extremely knowledgeable in law, she is very responsive, often answering emails in the early hours of the morning. She really cares about her clients and goes that extra mile. She is compassionate, but when it comes down to sitting in a courtroom she is tenacious, she really fights for her clients needs. I would highly recommend Cristen.

Ms. Gleeson is a hard worker, very professional and commits herself to here clients. She was very tenacious and very assertive even with the most challenging of persons. My case had dragged on for 8 years with other lawyers. Ms. Gleeson and her staff went above and beyond to get an agreement signed and finalized. Her assistant actually drove to meet my ex in a parking lot to get him to sign the documents to ensure the finality of the matter. I was finally able to get relief and closure to a very challenging chapter of my life. Ms. Gleeson was able to give me peace and a fresh start. I could not thank her enough.

Was extremely happy with the service I received. I thought she was very organized, easy to get hold of, not so friendly, but that didn't make her a bad person. I felt she looked down on us as clients, but I could be wrong. I am not sure I would get her again. cost us a fortune to get hardly nothing accomplished and she missed things that we were asking for in court. She returned all emails quickly, seemed to know what she was talking about.

Save yourself some grief...keep looking. Wasn't knowledgeable enough, not a communicator, missed several important details and options, and seemed less than interested, not to mention an attitude. Very poor value.
