I chose Ian Mclean for my lawyer and I've never regretted it. As a client I found Mr. Mclean to be sensitive to my needs he listened and provide me expert advise. When it came time for court he was prepared and his guidance put me at ease throughout the trial. His knowledge and experience brought me a very successful out come I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Ian Mclean and have since used him for other legal needs like preparing my Will which he made quick and easy to do. He is a blessing.

Maclean Has no clue what he is doing. I too retained his services and he totally sqrewd up, was never around to speak too and didn't understand the most basic of questions. Leave this guy. Find big bird instead.

This man should be disbarred. He took me for almost 10000 dollars then would not take my case to court. Look out Ottawa.

He was my criminal lawyer from August 2012 until May 30th, 2013. I was charged with 2 counts of criminal harassment. One count was withdrawn 9 days after the charges were laid and the other on May 30, 2013. He called me the night before indicating he wanted to be my lawyer on suing the Crown and Police. On May 30, 2013 Ian McLean indicated to me that I should enter into a Peace Bond and that this wouldn't affect my lawsuit. Well it did and as a result I just lost my claim. because Ian McLean is either a liar or idiot. He mislead me for almost a year thinking he would help me in my lawsuit. I even recorded telephone conversations with his secretary who asked me for stuff for my lawsuit that I was sending him. He just two months or so before the filing deadline tells me that he won't help me unless I can come up with the money. BTW: He never billed Legal Aid until after I called Legal Aid to ask why I never the bill that lawyers always send them when they bill Legal Aid.

I hired this attorney to help me collect from a former tnnant. He over-charged & under-performed. He had my wife & I show up for court knowing we wouldn't be heard becuase he failed to file papers & then said the (male) Judge was a "bit of an old lady". ~ I then represented myself on another case, where he was the opposing counsel. I don;t have enough space to document my experiences with him.

I retained Ian McLean 11,2013 to file for Probate to the Courts on my behalf. He told me when he filed the Probate forms, they were rejected due to a mistake. For 5 months of phone calls to him, asking what happens next and getting same answer each time,'we are working on it'. An assistant in his office happened to mention there was a Bond of an unbelievable amount,from a Court Judge that must be paid before able to proceed with my Probate. This lawyer did not tell me any of this. I had given Ian McLean a $1,000.00 retainer. I have never received any of the retainer back. My new lawyer requested my file from McLean's office.It only contained a copy of the form (it was a mess with stroked out errors) he had filed to the Courts. Not only did it cost me the $1000.00, but also the consequences of the delays of my Probate (two of a long list are, delayed receiving Insurance claim, plus additional Interest charges on my Husbands debts etc.etc)
