Jacqueline was very knowledgeable, competent and pleasant in our dealings with her, and the issue was dealt in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend her and her team regarding wills and power of attorney. Good advice and thorough!

very disappointed in this lawyer's inability to conclude a simple matter. does not respond substantively to contact nor get things done. Has promised conclusion many times and has failed. I have to constantly nag her to try to resolve. has made errors in her work and really avoided dealing with us. Just terrible service. I could not in good conscience recommend her to anyone

I have used Jackie's services over the past seven years and have nothing but positive things to say about her competence, knowledge, and personable manner. She is an impressive professional woman who cares about her clients and is easily accessible. Jackie always responds to my emails and phone calls the same day. She works long hours and many Saturdays on her cases, I know this because she has corresponded with me on weekends. I am very surprised by the negative reviews here - I have always trusted her advice and I have never regretted doing so. I will continue to retain Jackie as my family lawyer and I highly recommend her.

I have had the opportunity to use Jacqueline Horton’s legal services both personally & professionally as a realtor referring buyers & sellers for 10 years.
Personally, Jacqueline has always spent the extra time to explain the details of our business. Both my wife & I have always felt confident advice Jacqueline has given us. Neither of us has ever felt rushed & have always left our meetings comfortable all our questions have been answered.
Professionally, I have referred many dozens of my real estate buyers & sellers to Jacqueline. I can say that every one of these clients has been happy with her service &most have indicated they left their meetings feeling better informed & feeling more comfortable & knowledgeable than with other lawyers they have dealt with. I know that many of them have continued to use Jacqueline for personal legal services.
I feel very comfortable recommending Jacqueline as a lawyer. I know she will always be our “go-to” person for all legal issues.

i decided to hire mrs horton after a consultation regarding my concern. she turned out to be nothing like the impression she gave initially.i ended up having to complete the process myself. i would not recommend this lawyer to anyone.

I extremely regret hiring Jacqueline Horton of Genesis Law Group Victoira BC. I made the mistake of paying her in full before completion of what she was hired to do. She was impossible to get ahold of, her work was full of mistakes and I found her unethical. Avoid this lawyer and firm.

I came to Mrs. Horton with my ribs broken, eyes bloody, and fresh out of an abuse relationship. She said she could have my case wrapped up quickly as I had all my tax forums, bank statements and all my evidence in order. She never told me her hourly rate, and never had me sign any contract. She was next to impossible to get a hold of and rarely heard from. she dragged the case on for two years. After trying to get a hold of her for two months with no response, I finally decided to fire her and go to another lawyer. When I gave her secretary that message Mrs. Horton called me RIGHT BACK like I was the most important person in the world at that moment. Needless to say she was fired, I hired a new lawyer who got a settlement 2 months after hiring her. The new lawyer charged me 250$, Mrs. Horton charged me 2500$ AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
