Howard is incompetent, unprofessional and unethical. Hired to represent me for divorce and bankruptcy. He was suspended from practicing law in 2006.I've filed 2 complaints with the RI Disciplinary board.
He filed the paperwork in the wrong county, delayed the process by months. Made other paperwork errors. Failed to advise me of text in draft settlement that would have had negative impacts on custody of my child and cost me $1000s in taxes. Didn't rtn calls. Completely intimidated by husband's attorney, agreed to everything she proposed without countering. Never edited or marked up draft agreement. Kept me waiting for 1 1/2 hours at his office for a meeting. Never provided any info about fees or contract for services. Fired him in October 13 and still waiting for itemized inv for services and refund of $3,000 retainer for divorce and a future bankruptcy, despite multiple letters, texts, emails & phone calls.
Hiring him would be a complete waste of your time and money. He SUCKS!
