Worst lawyer ever. He pays to have his negative reviews removed. He’s just incompetent and barely steps foot in a court room. Men go elsewhere. He is a not a good lawyer.

Gene is unbelievably great at details patience and attention. He was recommended after my lawyer in Barrie billed me for 2 years of nothing!! What a great change. The only thing she got right was recommending Gene! Gene was able to neutralize the loud mouth, antagonistic rep from the other side who's sole purpose was to ring up his bills on her and thus me. Without hesitation Gene is your lawyer! Thanks Gene! My boys and I appreciate everything you did to resolve!

Gene's strategy was spot on, his team was professional and they worked tirelessly on my case.
They are brutally honest (especially Gene), you will be told exactly what your situation is, so you will need tough skin.
Other lawyers gave up on my case, even going as far as to say "lawyers don't like defending men, its much harder" . But Jenny and Gene took my case, and completely turned the tide. I highly recommend them

Mr. Colman is the one want on your side. He is extremely meticulous, accurate and thorough. He genuinely cared about my personal situation. He was relentless in dismantling the oppositions case. I would recommend Mr Colman and his staff to anyone.

Complex Family Law is the key here. My case was extremely complicated with many variables and he expertly cut through the clutter and targeted the salient points and GROUND down the my opposition. In the legal process there is significant amount of time required to create the necessary documentation but this is the court system as it exists. You ARE your documentation. Court is about proof and preparation. If you go to court with Mr Colman he will destroy his esteemed opposition simply because of these facts. If you are not willing to assist in the process yes you will incur costs for his office to do it, yes he he may get frustrated with you because you aren't taking it seriously. Simply put, you get what you pay for. Court is hell. If you aren't prepared, you go at your own risk. Mr Colman knows what is required in the court system. It's not a TV show. It is long, slow, monotonous process built on excruciating detail. If you have a serious case you need a serious lawyer. Gene Colman
