Karl is an exceptional lawyer. His acumen for the law is above reproach. His expertise is extensive and I would recommend him for almost any legal even though he has his own specialization. Karl helped me resolve an insurance dispute that was getting messy. He digested a lot of detail quickly and developed a strategy that worked perfectly. The claim was paid without going to court. I appreciated his clear and quick communication at each stage. I recommend him highly.

I am usually never in need of a lawyer but when I did mister Hauer Was not only very professional and reasonable in every aspact financially Respectful And even when I didn't know better I was given the best advice in a very respectful way. Karl I hope we never have to do business But if I am ever in need of a lawyer my first call will be to you. Read the reviews here and you will find the recurring themes: Karl Hauer is competent, professional, diligent, communicative & efficient. That has not appeared to change over time. Hauer represented me in a MVA claim that spanned from 2019 to 2023. Over that entire time, Hauer was always easy to get a hold of (whether by phone or e-mail), always seemed to have time to listen to what I had to say, and answered all of my questions. That’s all well and good, but the true worth of a lawyer is where the rubber meets the road. When it came time for discovery and the settlement negotiation, Hauer was prepared and to the point. He has a wonderful ability to cut through the noise and hone in on the true heart of the argument. We were impressed with his written responses to opposing counsel and pleased with the result he obtained for us. We would not hesitate to re-hire Karl Hauer & Co in the future or to recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer who will truly fight for their best interests.

I highly recommend Karl for any Family matters. He explains your options, and the likely outcome of your case. He's patient, diligent and intelligent in a common sense way. Ours is one of those strange and twisted situations that can only be attributed to Satan and the excessive trying of one’s earthly mettle. All I can say, is Karl Hauer is worth every penny! He is that rare lawyer who is both brilliant and a decent human being! (And we’ve been through a number of them locally who’d get sub-zero ratings were that possible). Highly recommend Mr Hauer!!

Karl is an amazing lawyer! Karl took on my very difficult high conflict divorce matter which had already been in litigation for over 12 years. What makes my case so difficult is that I have 2 children who both have serious special needs and so even though they are physically at or approaching adult age; they still require support for the remainder of their lives. Karl efficiently and effectively cut through to the heart of the matter and was able to clearly and concisely communicate this in court on multiple occasions against opposing party who uses every loophole and delay tactic imaginable. Karl just kept moving forward with my case against those odds and I was able to obtain the protection and supoorts my children require. Karl is efficient and effective. He diligently ensures there are no errors in his paperwork etc. He ensures court orders are printed up and signed and court stamped as quickly as humanly possible. I chose to use Karl Hauer for a somewhat unique situation I was dealing with. I was terminated from my employment with my former employer giving what they felt as just cause for “conflict of interest” I had (have) a side business that they were very in the know about. They hired me to do work for them and I hired them to do work for me..... it took a lot to be able to explain the inner dealings of it all. Karl took the time (there was a lot of it) to understand the situation. He was prompt to return my calls, speak to my witnesses ect. The company made a few weak offers to settle (some the night before trial and morning of too!) it was exhausting... Karl represented me for one day of trial, then was able to negotiate a fair settlement with my former employer. I thank Karl for all of his time and understanding. Karl Hauer is a matter of fact lawyer keeping information simple and to the point. There was no drama, no "extra" anything. I feel the judge really appreciated Karl's lean approach to sharing pertinent while not including opinions or feelings. This approach made it so much easier for the judge to read through or "cut to the chase" some might say. Karl's demeanor kept me calm during a very emotional time. I am so happy to have found Karl. This was a challenging case with extremely difficult defendants involving criminal actions. I would have been lost without Karl and they would have out litigated me. I hired Karl Hauer at Batchelor Stamm Law Corporation to help me in a law suit that I was going to bring against a large corporation in BC. I found that he was able to see the problem from perspectives that other lawyers were not able to see which benefited me greatly. He had a friendly but serious side with the opposing council which again benefited us greatly and, I believe, resulted in a quick settlement of the law suit without going to trail. He backed everything he said to the opposing council with legal evidence. He also consulted other lawyers in his office to help me to minimize taxes on the settlement that I received. He was very organized with the help of Nadine his legal assistant. I am happy with the result.
