I am aware of 3 cases involving "Ms." Cox. In all 3 cases, she did a terrible job at representing her clients. She is impossible to reach, unprofessional and will drag a case on as long as possible to make money. DO NOT HIRE HER! And if you're on the opposing side ask to have her removed or it will take a long time to reach any settlement.

Divorce sucks. Meredith made it as painless as possible under the circumstances. Took calls from me when I was freaking out and was a wonderful and compassionate sounding board. I've recommended her to more than a few people and everyone has been very happy with her.

I cannot say enough about Ms. Cox. Despite what I'm sure is a very busy practice, she always made me feel like I was her only client. She took the time to listen to my concerns, promptly returned my calls and provided excellent advice. She is very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. Her law clerk was also a pleasure to deal with and really knows her stuff! I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Cox and do so whenever possible.

My experience with Ms. Cox as my Family Law Lawyer was a pleasant one under the circumstance. In all fairness to lawyers practicing family law you not only have to know the Rules/Law but deal with individuals that are emotionally charged. Ms. Cox and her assistant were always there for me, not only taking care for my paperwork to secure my financial future but being a shoulder to cry on. My ex's lawyer was strategically working with my ex to exhaust my funds hoping I would drop the fight and it almost worked, I wanted to throw in the towel and Ms. Cox encouraged me and gave me strength to continue without breaking the bank and the results were in my favour. I'm sure my ex was not happy with his representation. In summary really no is a winner when it comes to divorce, it's an emotional roller coaster. Ms. Cox & her team thank you for being there and I would recommend your services to anyone.

I agree with the previous client. Has too much on her plate clearly and does not return your phone calls including her clerk. Was thinking of retaining her but glad I didn't.

This lawyer is the epitome of ego and insensitivity. She consistently over promised and under delivered, not responding to calls (and trained her law clerk well in this regard also) and missed her own deadlines and forgot her own advice so I had to remind her of what she would have recommended to me in past meetings. She left for a 3 week holiday in the middle of my case without informing me and in addition, due to several non responsive cases, it cost me more time and more money in my divorce settlement. Then she decided that she could no longer serve my case and had too much on her plate, and suggested I move to another lawyer just after filing with the courts. I hired Meredith to chase down a non-child support and non-spousal support paying ex who continues to be hard to track down but I was not counting on having to chase down my lawyer too. Do not retain this law firm - they seem impressive at the onset but don't be fooled. They won't have your back.
