Stay away from him. If your case helps his reputation, he does a great job. If not look out. I paid him $20,000 to go to jail. He did nothing for the money and he did nothing in court. He used none of my evidence, wouldn't do as I asked. He had his head buried in his yellow note pad. I thought he was working on my case by making up new questions. I don't know what he was working on, but no new questions were asked. He never used any evidence and the false evidence against me was not challenged. When the sentencing was over, he was gone faster that speedy Gondolas. He doesn't communicate very well.I found his knowledge was lacking or he just didn't care. He refused to ask a question that I asked him to. He never asked me a very important question about some pictures. My family, friend, and I fully believe he never prepared for my case. I must say one positive thing about him, he look good in his outfit.

I used Michael some time ago to defend me against bogus assault charges from my ex and her bf. Total attempt to influence an in going family court/custody battle. He was very astute, skillful, confident and on point throughout the trial. In the end, he not only defended me successfully, but poked so many holes in their false claims and contradictions- totally undressed them. The judge actually acknowledged the false claims for what they were- a poor attempt to influence family court proceedings. He's not cheap, but provides value for what he gets accomplished. Can't thank him enough.

Based on the ratings given on this website I hired him but he is an complete idiot. Whatever is written/ratings below my ratings doesn't reflect of him. Stay away from him. He overcharged me; dragged my case for ~2 years and the end result was horrible for me. He was not prepared during my hearing date. He didn't object on anything where he should be. He's only after money. A greedy guy who would rip you off. The way he acts: he will let you use your credit card to pay him, he will offer you flat fee; at first few dealings you would find him very easy going guy but that's about it. The real bad results you will see inside the court. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! Do Not Trust Sparks.

Best of the best costs a fair amount of money but like they say you get what you pay for I had a cheap lawyer when I was criminally charged and he was telling me I was going to jail for a susbstaintial amount of time I fired my lawyer and obtained Mr. Sparks 2 weeks into my case he had my charges reduced and 2 weeks later I was I front of a judge having my charges removed by far the top lawyer around and very friendly always giving updates when he knows anything via mail phone or email I highly recommend him to anyone. If you have been charged call him you will not regret it

I required Mr. Sparks services in June 2014. I searched online and found some excellent articles detailing my situation on his firm's site; I called him immediately. Having just left the court room with the matter resolved amiably I am so glad I did. He is extremely knowledgeable, effective, and made sure that the matter was resolved in a timely manner in a way the most beneficial to my interests. I can't thank him enough. If you ever need a sledge hammer, call him immediately.

He defended me against an assault charge. He communicates well, and was skilful at assessing and handling my case. Very straight forward, clear and on point. I highly recommend him. As to value, he charges a lump sum based on the case, rather than by the hour, so value would vary depending on the work needed.
