The family and I went to see him in 2014 when our Father passed away because the family cottage is in Ontario. Emailed him at the beginning of March that the estate needs to be finalized because the cottage will be going up for sale this summer. No one responded to emails or calls until end of July when I said I have a buyer for the cottage. Went in, signed the latest papers because my last name changed in the 4 1/2 years this has been taking (for various reasons). Only then, I can go ahead and get my name on the land title in order to sell it. I was told it should take 2 weeks. It is 4 weeks today, and no one is returning my calls. We can't give the potential buyer a possession date and cottage season is almost done! The family and I are using another lawyer for the land title change and the sale of the cottage.

This lawyer cost me more than $2400 to sell my house, when the average fees is $350. I paid only $300 when I sold my previous house! He charged me $1200 for his fees, he charged $500 for emails that have no value for me! he kept my money with no interest for 33 days. Avoid this lawyer when you sell/buy a house and Comfree should remove him from their list
