Mr mchugh has been a great atty. If he isn't available right away via phone he always got back to me before the end of the workday and via email the absolute same.My kid father had me in court and he hired a "top" lawyer so i was hoping and praying Mr. McHugh would deliver and not clam up like my last lawyer did. I was hoping he wouldn't be scared and would completely stand up to this "bulldog" and he completely did every single time. Always gave me the best advice like a genuinely concerned friend does, and during off the clock hours too. He made sure he settled for me exactly what I was asking for from my kid father and then some. I truly admire that. I hope to never need him again but if I ever do,he's on speeddial. TM

My main problem with Mr. McHugh is he makes you sign a non-refundable fee agreement without telling you it's non-refundable. He also wasn't as aggressive as I wanted him to be in the child custody case he represented me in. I took out a loan for $5,000.00 and paid him up front. When the case was over he sent me a bill, which stated a total charge of $4,000.00. During an email exchange with Mr. McHugh, he basically said, he would not be refunding the leftover $1,000.00. So Mr. McHugh gets an extra $1,000.00 for nothing. Even though I signed the agreement the right and honest thing for Mr. McHugh to do would be to return the extra $1,000.00 he did not work for. So beware of this law firm and watch what you sign. This is the guy who gives lawyers a bad name.
