Communication - If you're her "preferred" side excellent, if your not, very little if any responses to phone calls or text messages. Tenacity - again if not her "preferred" side, does everything possible to put you in the negative side (know of several cases where she was GAL and the "un-preferred" suffered through Order of Protections, multiple DCFS cases by "preferred side" where her comments were harsh against the other side. Work quality bad - does not send invoices of work on any regular basis. You get "hit" with court filings/orders for payment with months and $$$$ of dollars at a time. When involved in cases where "pauper" status is (payable by the county at a low rate) and a 3rd party is involved who pays at her higher rate, everything including court appearances (where all parties have parts of each case addressed) the "higher paying" party gets billed all. Nothing is broken out in her filing for payment. Not lenient if late in paying. Overall Value - BAD. Avoid at any cost.

Highly unethical as a GAL for children. Made absolutely no recommendations to the court on behalf of, or to protect my children.

While working as the Guardian ad Litem for my mother, during a guardianship case involving my brother and sister, it was very clear that she was actually working with my brother's attorney and was not impartial. She never responded to emails sent to her from my sister and I, regarding the case. Not that we are surprised. We always suspected that because of her close relationship with my brother's attorney that she was not impartial and therefore not working to represent my mother. She did not corroborate my sister's claims against my brother by speaking to staff at my mother's care facility or other pertinent individuals. However, she stood in court and told the Judge my brother is doing a great job as guardian. I totally agree with the review from 4-23-15. "This woman has NO scruples, as evident in family court."! She needs to recuse herself from the case! I am sure her lack of scruples will not permit!
