I have been a client of Shelly's since 2010. She has stood by my side and provided me with excellent council throughout. She is worth every penny I have paid her and wouldn't trade her in for anything. My ex is non-stop stupidity but she just tells it like it is and gets the job done. I would highly recommend her as a lawyer and have referred a few people to her. Smart, knowledgeable, hard working and an excellent communicator.I have received all court orders in a timely fashion, within one week or less. She consistently informs me of all communications from my ex, how to deal with them, and what to expect in court.She has proven fierce in the courtroom, and takes pride in fighting for the rights of myself and my children. She remembers more about my case than I do. Excellent lawyer, truly.

Shelley is an amazing force of nature to be reckoned with and a damn good lawyer. I have never once been over charged by her. She is worth her weight in gold as far as Im concerned. she has gone above and beyond for me. she has impecible ethics and fights for justice which is far more than I can say for any other lawyer Ive dealt with. Although everyone is entitled to their opinions, I am truly disappointed by the other posts describing her as some incapable money grubbing lawyer. My experience with Shelley has been the complete opposite. She has fought for me and my baby, she has been expedient, ethical, dependable and I am truly grateful for everything she has gone out of her way to do for us. She's made me feel so much better about our very difficult situation. I want to be a survivor instead of a victim and I felt that way after I left her office since the first time. I am truly lucky to have her on my side.Anyone would be lucky to have her expertise and tenacity working for them

I went to Ms. Lloyd Atkinson for help regarding a family law matter, the whole process was time consuming and very little contact from her or her office other than asking for more money. After a lengthy wait and not told what was going on I was asked to come in for a meeting only to be lectured. For starters I did not get any of the answers or tasks completed that I had asked for. My critique of Ms. Lloyd Atkinson's services are as follows : 1.) Do as your client asks, take notes and familiarize yourself with their very important matters after you are working for me 2.) communicate regularly and update your client without charging for every second you speak to them as like the previous review states " You have to go over everything twice or three times on her time. I was charged just over $2,000.00 for absolutely nothing. Showboater and charges dearly. I needed legal help and got nothing, very disappointed and I am set back further than when I first hired her.

shelley is a great show boater and can represent a great lawyer in "looks" she acts tough and all knowing. she is scared to go to court so she jacks up the price to unaffordable ($25K) then makes an excuse that it could take over a year to even get to court! she is afraid of other pushy lawyers and isn't fast thinking on her feet! takes forever to get anything done! Even if you do all the work! she is disorganized and doesn't remember one meeting to the next. Losses important papers. pretends to take notes and then doesn't accomplish anything. every meeting you have to start all over again and then you pay for it.charges for EVERY little thing!3 years, 12grand later and I'm getting screwed by my abusive x husbands manipulative lawyer with no divorce in sight!
