Jim was a breath of fresh air to all the drama i was enduring. I truly felt like I finally had someone, knowledgeable, logical, and kind on my side. He was forthcoming with facts and laws that helped us, not only understand the system better, but also how to work with it. He was available when we needed him and timely in his responses. This is the second time I have needed a lawyer, and I have been more than satisfied both times. I have also recommended Jim to tohers, and they have been equally satisfied. Jim was engaging, thoughtful, and listened well to my situation; Jim was also a knowledgeable advocate, reasonably wisely guiding me through a complicated ordeal. I felt supported and guided at the same time. Highly recommend Jim for anyone looking for a lawyer.

I have known Jim for quite a number of years. He is funny, engaging, confident, yet personable.
I will admit that I have not used Jim for any legal matters, per se but I have worked in the legal field for many, many years and know that your reputation is everything and this legal world is (surprisingly) small. I can honestly say that I have not heard a bad or damaging word said about Jim, the way he deals with, serves and represents his clients or his knowledge and passion of the law.
In fact, I had a very close friend who was thinking of suing a small company and Jim was the person that I recommended that she seek legal counsel from. That is how much I trust him and I would recommend him again and again, without hesitation!

I have known Jim many years. He is a hard working knowledgeable lawyer that is as good as the best downtown lawyers if not better.He wont tell you what you want to hear but will give you sound legal advice whether you like it or not. He may not be able to answer your calls immediately but he always gets back to you. I highly recommend Jim to anyone needing high quality legal representation.

i have used mr. Koumarelas on numerous occasions over the past few years. He is extremely knowledgeable and very fair with pricing. He is easily approachable, and unlike other lawyers, he does'nt make you feel like the meter needs to be turned on before he speaks to you. i would highly recommend him, but , sometimes you may have to wait for your appointment. Although this does seem to be the norm for their industry...

I met Mrs Koumarelas four years ago. He took on a very difficult affair that had to do with a minor child case.I have to say the best for him,not just as a lawyer but also as a man .He is excellent in his work and very responsible.I am grateful through the depths of my heart who stood on my side for so long and won.I wish to continue as an intact and professional and I wish the best for him and his family. I have known Jim for over 10 years and he has been my lawyer and my family's lawyer all this time. He is very knowledgeable about many legal matters. He represented me on my divorce with my ex and told me from the beginning what to expect. It took 4 years to settle my matter but that is because we were fighting over my son. I found him to be aggressive at times when it was warranted. He has been representing my uncle the past year on an will issue and my uncle has nothing but excellent things to say about him and his advice. Keep up the good work but please get a secretary.

would not recomend this guy to my worst enemy sz one thing does another,does not answer calls nor return them .he is an embarrassment to all lawyers would give this guy a hell o for recomendation pls do not get involved with this guy not only you will waste your time and money he does not fight for you if he is up against a good lawyer he does not have a leg to stand on ...WORST LAWYER EVER !!!!

Jim Koumarelas has a heart of gold. He accepted my child custody case on a pro bono basis. He attended numerous court appearances with me and he devoted countless hours of his time outside the courtroom meeting with me and drafting responding material to all the lawyers and agencies involved. It is refreshing to see a lawyer use his skills and his abilities to make a difference in a child's life. You are a great example to all lawyers and to all human beings. Far to often people are eager to write negative comments and make phone calls to complain. People hardly ever take the time to share positive experiences and say thank you. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Jim Koumarelas for his professionalism, legal expertise, practical legal advise and kind demeanor. What I appreciated most about Mr. Koumarelas was he took the time to explain everything to me in both, English and in Greek. He made sure I understood exactly what he was explaining. He answered all my questions and concerns. I never felt rushed. Every booked appointment was kept. All my e-mails and phone calls were acknowledged within a day, if not the same day. I was promptly advised when the other side submitted a response and was well aware of the contents in Mr. Koumarelas' rebuttal letter. He arrived early for every court appearance and was always well prepared. I was very happy with his quality of work and performance. I would use him again. Great lawyer!
