Anita is awesome! She was clear and honest from the start. As well she is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. While my spouses lawyer was making excuses & causing delays, she was able to cut through the smoke and get things moving. I have not once felt like a number or low priority while working with her.

I’ve only been divorced once, so I can’t compare lawyers. But I will tell you one thing, Anita and her staff was the best choice I could make for myself during my divorce. I found Anita to be calming and knowledgeable. She let me know all the items she was willing to negotiate and all the items she’s did not wish to negotiate all to my benefit. Not only will I continue to use Anita, but I also refer Anita at every chance. Now that I found out Anita is very capable at building Family Trusts, I have every bit of faith in her to build that for me and my kids.

I highly highly highly reccomend ANITA KANIA. She represented me better than I could have ever imagined or asked for. My needs were always put first, regardless if it was a phone call or email etc. and I was treated as a friend rather than just a number. Anita is incredibly professional and a classy lady. My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. My nerves were calmed and the process was always explained. ANITA KANIA fought hard for me, she always went above and beyond and did everything she could to ensure a great outcome. She is honestly and truly the best of the best. I couldnt imagine going through this process without her. She was my rock!!! I cannot thank you enough Anita for doing everything and anything to have this amazing outcome. I cannot rate Anita high enough. She is an incredible lawyer and an even better person. She took the time to explain my case to me in detail, answered all my questions, always made time for me and treated me with respect and compassion throughout my divorce proceedings. I felt like I was appreciated and valued and not just a paying client. She never made any grand promises for me and was always fair and truthful with me regarding how to settle my case and what I should expect. Anita is the nicest person to deal with and her positive upbeat demeanour makes the difficult matters she has to deal with more manageable. I am so glad that I had her on my side and that I did not have to go against her, as that would have certainly ended in me losing badly. I can truly say that I have made a friend in Anita and I certainly recommended her services to anyone that may need them.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I have received from Anita Kania and her staff.
I went through a very lengthy and difficult separation. My husband and his lawyer have been delaying the settlement for years, refusing to engage in meaningful negotiations.
As is the case with many divorce situations, I was under extreme financial pressure during the separation time and Anita did everything to keep the legal fees as low as possible. She kept me updated on all important issues but never billed for the sake of “billing”. In the end she managed to negotiate a fair settlement and I was able to get on with my life.
Anita was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient in handling my case and I am forever grateful for everything she did for me. For anyone looking for a competent, experienced and trustworthy lawyer - a better choice could not be made.

Anita was recommended by another lawyer, outside of family law. She was supportive but let me know clearly what to expect thru the process of my divorce and what the expected outcome would be. My divorce was complicated and it took 5 years and multiple trips to court before my EX finally settled. In court Anita had command of the room when representing my positions. You could see that the judges listened carefully as she stated the facts. The final agreement was exactly what Anita told me it would be five years prior. Her advice is excellent and ethical moral compass is solid. My sister recommended Anita to a friend and he was more that satisfied with her representation. It is easy to find a Yellow pages lawyer, but frankly I thank my lucky stars I had the recommendation of Anita from a lawyer I trusted and respected.

Anita is by far among the best lawyers out there and in my opinion she is the very best. I had researched many lawyers before selecting Anita. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and realistic. Proceedings involving children are always tough and emotional and my case was no different. Anita helped me through every step of the way and gave very good advice navigating through a high conflict case. I can't believe how she processes all the information so quickly and how she presses forward like a champion. She looked after my best interests and I would have no other lawyer in front of a judge other than Anita. Her expertise helped win all motions in court and in the end she was amazing in negotiating a favorable settlement. I couldn't ask for anything more!
