I’ve only been divorced once, so I can’t compare lawyers. But I will tell you one thing, Anita and her staff was the best choice I could make for myself during my divorce. I found Anita to be calming and knowledgeable. She let me know all the items she was willing to negotiate and all the items she’s did not wish to negotiate all to my benefit. Not only will I continue to use Anita, but I also refer Anita at every chance. Now that I found out Anita is very capable at building Family Trusts, I have every bit of faith in her to build that for me and my kids.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I have received from Anita Kania and her staff.
I went through a very lengthy and difficult separation. My husband and his lawyer have been delaying the settlement for years, refusing to engage in meaningful negotiations.
As is the case with many divorce situations, I was under extreme financial pressure during the separation time and Anita did everything to keep the legal fees as low as possible. She kept me updated on all important issues but never billed for the sake of “billing”. In the end she managed to negotiate a fair settlement and I was able to get on with my life.
Anita was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient in handling my case and I am forever grateful for everything she did for me. For anyone looking for a competent, experienced and trustworthy lawyer - a better choice could not be made.

Anita was recommended by another lawyer, outside of family law. She was supportive but let me know clearly what to expect thru the process of my divorce and what the expected outcome would be. My divorce was complicated and it took 5 years and multiple trips to court before my EX finally settled. In court Anita had command of the room when representing my positions. You could see that the judges listened carefully as she stated the facts. The final agreement was exactly what Anita told me it would be five years prior. Her advice is excellent and ethical moral compass is solid. My sister recommended Anita to a friend and he was more that satisfied with her representation. It is easy to find a Yellow pages lawyer, but frankly I thank my lucky stars I had the recommendation of Anita from a lawyer I trusted and respected.

I am so glad to have Anita Kania represent me. She is understanding, intelligent, knowledgeable and an amazing negotiator. Her counsel and advice was outstanding. Even though divorce is terrible, she made the whole process that much easier with her engaging and friendly personality. But when she had to represent me, the gloves came off and she went in like a Champion!
