DO NOT use Edgar Schink. I wish I had looked online first for reviews. He took my $2500 retainer, did nothing for 6 months, then refunded a few hundred when I got angry at the inaction. Any money given to this man will be wasted.

This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a "professional" in my life. Fortunately, I terminated services before getting in too deep but, he still managed to burn up $1300 on essentially nothing. After the first $900 I expressly told them in writing to not spend another penny without my prior approval. Upon termination, I was hit with another surprise $375. Services were terminated because it was impossible to get any response to questions I had related to the completion of documents requested by the opposing lawyer. Emails went unanswered for over 3 weeks despite weekly follow up attempts. The real kick in the crotch was that the final bill included $30 for the clerks time in dealing with the emails that went unanswered! No one seemed concerned, apologetic or asked why services were terminated. Sadly this is clearly just the way they conduct business. Business must be good if you can dispose of clients like that! Save yourself great frustration and move on.

STAY AWAY! He is extremely incompetent and is only in it for one thing... Money! I've witnessed this man not be able to remember a single detail of my case but can remember to ask to top of his retainer. The amount of money you will spend with him with be terrible; you'll feel worse after leaving his office.

Absolutely should NOT be practicing law. I have no clue how this useless guy is allowed to stay in practice - it's criminal. Doesn't care about his clients - ONLY WANTS MONEY. I agree with every other review on here - STAY CLEAR.

Completely incompetent "lawyer". He is a total mute in court - absolutely refused to defend me or even utter a word- rather he just conceeded to the opposing council. He is money-grubbing and sloppy and severely negligent. I am seriously considering a gross negligence and malpractice suit against him. Clearly every other REAL reviewer on here feels the same. I encourage you all to pursue action against him as well. This Guy cost me a fortune in fees and I missed out on hundreds of thousands of dollars because he refused to argue my case in court. I've never seen anything like this. This guy should NOT be practicing.

This one is totally useless but wasting your money. Be aware of this lawyer, not professional at all... As a Family Lawyer terrible. Irresponsible, works just for money, doesn’t care about people at all. He just care money and wants go to court with no additional remedial options so he can take as much of his clients’ money. He took $5,000 from me only a few weeks for nothing but was still lucky to realize his true ability and discharge him not too late.

All he cares about his fee. He is always unprepared, can not remember the important points of your case and very quick to agree with opponent party.

Edgar Schink is a terrible person who couldn't care less about the people he works with. His main objective is money and that's his bottom line. All he cares about is going to court with no additional remedial options so he can take as much of his clients money ad possible. Steer clear.
