Kevin deserves more than just a 5 star review! Kevin has helped me navigate my will (and then years later a revision of my will), the purchase of a house and then legal advice on how to proceed with a family issue.He's given me sound solid advice and has been compassionate, understanding and dedicated to my situation. I had been putting off making a will and doing estate planning for decades. The sad and unexpected death of a friend motivated me to get moving on this, and a person close to me recommended Kevin Brothers as the best lawyer to contact. I did, and I was impressed. Mr. Brothers returned my call immediately, and we hammered out the basics that very day. My subsequent questions were answered with clarity and precision. He also made a number of very useful suggestions on some matters I was uncertain about. I had always imagined that preparing a will would be dreadfully complicated, time-consuming, and stressful, but I was wrong. Mr. Brothers eased me through this process with consummate professionalism, expertise, and understanding.

Kevin has been my lawyer many times over the years for wills, POA, buying and selling my home(s) and dealing with estate matters. Both he and his staff have always been friendly and personable and seem genuinely interested in both your legal matters but also you as a person. I had a great experience working with Kevin Brothers. I hired Mr. Brothers for a family court matter and a criminal court matter. Both of my cases had great outcomes and I would hire him again. Okay, I haven't used a lawyer in eight or nine years since I had some property transferred to my name - simple stuff (I think). That lawyer recommended Kevin Brothers to handle the letter of authentication for a foreign divorce document (my fiancee from Brazil). When Kevin discovered our short timeline, he called me that evening at 7pm and we arranged an 11am meeting for the next day. Additionally, in his letter to the Registrar General of Ontario he stressed the time-sensitive nature (our upcoming wedding)of the document. Easy to chat with. I don't think I was charged above the ordinary, so, yeah, I'd recommend Kevin to friends and family in need of a hard working trustworthy family lawyer. This was not a legal aid case - i paid him 3300$ + 1500 retainer (I still have the receipts) and was still paying him when he sent letter(s) to my ex's lawyer telling her i was refusing to sign documents and not paying for his work - actually telling my ex and her lawyer these things on letter head. I can prove this. Also, i kept asking for one condition, that my ex not be allowed to move my son out of town, and at first he included in the court docs, then somehow it gets removed without my knowledge or consent. He then tells me to sign some documents and its an agreement to all my ex's conditions. I stopped payment and told him i wanted my money back because he did not provide proper legal representation, minimal work and max billing; of course he kept my money.
