I was unfortunate to have chosen Terry Gutkin. Not only did he waste my time and money, but he also miss-represented himself and his knowledge. He took on a case that, in the judges opinion, was not realistically winnable. Had he known international law, as he claimed he did, our case should have taken a completely different course. i would only recommend Terry Gutkin to a friend's spouse; giving my friend a definite advantage over his ex-spouse.

Loves to drag things on, never knows the answer right away, even though he has 30+ years experience. Don't be fooled, he acts confident and talks a good game(in the board room),thats where his talents ends. He tends to repeat thing over and over, and never gets to the point. Meanwhile, your charge card is getting hot!! His Junior was way better in explaining things, and better priced. He should take notes from her! Judges and other lawyers know him well, and this tends to put you at a disadvantage. Terry takes a lot of holidays too, be careful,its costly trying to catch him up when he comes back.In the end ,his strategy failed for me . I would have been better off without a lawyer, and just agreeing to everything my Ex's lawyer wanted.

If you have LOTS of money to blow and are interested in a long and drawn out nightmare. Terry is your man. Great knowledge and knows the system well. Not interested in an early settlement as the longer he plays the game the more billable hours. Such a waste of talent, more interested in the money then the client.
