I engaged Ms. Gilsig and after 2 months, she had accomplished nothing. All that was required initially was a Pleading, but her staff seemed confused on what to do, and Marla gave the issue little to no priority. I got the sense that she only wants to work with rich clients who will pay big fees.

My divorce was complicated by my husband's corporate holdings but Marla obtained an order for a report by a reputable business valuator and the valuation report and guideline income calculation were the foundation for our separation agreement. I got the result I wanted but it over a year to obtain it.

Marla provided me with a clear understanding of my legal options, worked efficiently to achieve my desired outcome, a separation agreement and divorce while helping me learn to manage my new role as single parent in a copaarenting relationship. Her fees were reasonable and her bills easy to understand.

I was appalled by the unprofessional draft she wrote for my approval. Had some good advice, but not very efficient - took too long to respond in writing draft for separation agreement and then very poorly written. I would recommend you NOT use M. Gilsig for legal matters.

Exceedingly difficult to deal with, makes unfounded accusations and yet bills herself as "collaborative" , not very smart, doesnt seem to understand the major issues and gets overly caught up in meaningless details. Avoid
