I got nothing more than the original severance package offered. It took nearly 2 months for him to do this, all after I asked whether there was any advantage to talking to my former employer myself to save money (I was unemployed). He said no, it would be better for him to handle it. Other people who were laid off at the same time spoke directly with the company, and got more, and were available to work that much sooner. I lost the opportunity to possibly earn about 6 weeks salary while waiting for him to do nothing but charge me a bunch of money so I lost at both ends. Never ever again, Joel and/or Field Law!
