I had Anessa years ago. My abuser/rapist and his girlfriend managed to complain to the law society and create a bogus appeal so I wouldn't have a lawyer - due to conflict of interest - after his jail and probation. I was ultimately defended by two attorneys from LawPro and the decision published as it was more legal abuse, now used as case law. At the time, severe domestic abuse wasn't even considered for mothers and I was warned not to mention it. I was a very scared, very traumatized person. I want you to know that Anessa helped me and my young children as best she could, until my abuser tried to make me unrepresented. I had Melissa Belliveau prior, who left my case due to pregnancy and harassment from my abuser. I had to get new lawyer from a big firm after but she truly helped. I was so so scared. Saw her recently, my case stood out. Trust her. I did and do. Thank you Anessa.

Straight shooter!! no better person to represent you at court. Did not drain me for all I'm worth while I was caught in a nasty custody battle!!! Reading some of these reviews, completely untrue! She came highly recommended and I would recommend her any day! Her staff is so wonderful to speak to as well!

Very Disappointed with this Lawyer. Initially was very knowledgeable and proactive.. but as time past she lost the wind in her sails.. and we lost over $20 thousand. And still got screwed in court. Poor follow up and communication.

Very very unprofessional.She's not aware of current Service Canada regulations which leads to multiple re-applications. Spent thousands of dollars with absolutely no results. Does not respond in a timely manner. Extremely disappointed
