I hired Misty Parks to help me get custody of my daughter in Davidson County. I am a father and had never had a parenting plan with my daughter's mother, so I was afraid in the beginning of what would happen. Ms. Parks was upfront with me about what to expect and was able to successfully negotiate me gaining primary custody of my daughter with her mother agreeing to do so. She was well versed in the law, and knew the other attorneys and was very familiar with the court and what would likely happen. I believe Ms. Parks charged a reasonable fee for her services and I do not think without her help I would now have my daughter with me full time. I would recommend Ms. Parks to anyone and (although I hope to never need her again) if I ever have a legal issue again she will be my first call.

She charges you for every little thing. If you call to talk to her for 15 minutes, she charges $37.50. If later in the day you need to ask her 1 more quick question, even if it's less than 1 minute it's another $37.50. Plus, she doesn't fight for you in the courtroom. One time the judge somehow had another person's file in his hand when he called her up & instead of being familiar with our case, she assumed we had not told her everything. If she had read over her notes before court was in session, she would have known that wasn't our case. From the start she was always sarcastic and rude, even to me, her client, so I thought she would fight for me in court, but that wasn't the case. Also, she never gave me a copy of the contract, even though she said she would go back to her "office" and make a copy and bring it next time. I never saw her degree because I never saw her "office" as we always met in the Starbucks parking lot. I fired her & won with a lawyer out of downtown Nashville.
