I suffered a serious fall with long lasting complications. Wes was immediately available at all times, even throughout the restrictions of Covid19. His advice was knowledgeable and sound. Was referred to Wes as a competent personal industry lawyer. He did not disappoint. He and his team were clear in explaining the roacky path to a settlement. As I was a novice, They were always there to help along the way. It is not an easy road with ICBC, but they got me there with an end result even better than they had expected. I would recommend Wes and his team highly. I rarely give such high marks, but they checked off all the boxes.

I don't usually write reviews but in this case i am going to.Working with this law firm and Wes has been great. We settled with a good outcome. I am very happy with the results.Everyone i interacted with was very professional and I always felt like I was being represented properly . Due to long delays in treatment and refusal of ICBC from financing the Botox injections by Neurologist I ended up at VGH emergency and unable to drive since then. No one cared about my inability to work other than my lawyer who arranged an emergent surgery to fuse my vertebrae and prevent from permanent nerve root damage and get me back to work.
make sure your chosen law firm is always there for you, some of them are not when you need them most

I was not happy with my experience at MG
It started out great when I submitted my claim, but suddenly went downhill when my original lawyer left the firm and my case was passed on to Wes Mussio.
He wrote a great summary from the notes of the other lawyer, but that proficiency quickly faded.
I think as soon as he realized the outcome wasn’t going to be over five figures the effort sharply dropped and it felt like he took 30 second skims of my claim and sent me communications requesting information previously submitted through the other lawyer.
One time he even sent me ICBC information which had nothing to do with my slip and fall.
I really believe I could have settled my case for more, but after months of dealing with this I just wanted to settle and took the second counter offer.
Then to top it all off, they tried to take 28% on my claim that settled in 8 months when the fee structure they emailed me stated 20% for less than a year and 28% for more than a year.

Wes Mussio went above and beyond for me. When I got into a bad car accident, my friend recommended him and I am grateful that she did! He made sure that ICBC knew my claim was serious, when they didn't before. He made sure I received the best care with my physio therapist and even followed up with me personally to see if I was recovering. Eventually, ICBC compensated me for being off work for nearly a year and it was all thanks to Wes Mussio. I cannot thank him or recommend him enough. If I could, I would give him a rating of 10/5!

Wes and his team helped me every step of the way. Wes arranged specialists for me to visit that my first lawyer I fired would not have even considered. My MVA was very serious and my injuries were subjective and Wes made sure ICBC knew how serious it really was. I attended an all day assessment by an occupational Therapist who assessed my abilities. An orthopedic surgeon did a very thorough assessment as well, plenty of expect witness' were arranged as well for trial. The whole team at Mussio Goodman worked day and night (and were ready to work over the long weekend for trial prep if it hadn't settled 13 days before court). Wes made sure all of the bases were covered and there was no room for doubt about my injuries and how they affected my life forever. Being in a MVA and suing ICBC is not an easy thing to go through mentally, financially & emotionally however Wes and his team did their best to navigate me through the process and got me fair compensation.

My dad was in a MVA not wearing his seatbelt and badly injured his wrist. He loved to work with his hands which was taken away through the MVA. As a self-employed tile-setter, my dad used lawful means to lower his income.
The insurance company gave us a meager offer. Wes fought hard and went to court.
He did a great job representing my dad. The judge could discern my dad's situation well and Wes's arguments were convincing. My dad was attributed 0% negligence for not wearing a seat belt - the income was adjusted to his likely income - loss of future income was awarded to my dad based on little to no residual earning capacity left.
The judge's award was more than DOUBLE the final offer of the insurance company.
With no background in legal matters we had to trust Wes's expertise. Not once did we feel that Wes put his own interests first.

Horrible lawyer. Ignore all of the ratings that give him 5 out of 5. Got a new lawyer after 2 yrs and learned more from him in 2 hrs than Wes in 2 yrs. He wants to settle your case as fast as he can and take his cut. Look at other law firms and take my advice and do not hire him. Read the bad ratings and you will get a pic of the real Wes.

There is no doubt that Wes knows the law, but he fails in his ethics. He comes from an ICBC background and it shows.Towards the end of my claim I could tell he wanted to settle without going to court. He actually went on the defensive with me, becoming aggressive and threatening, badgering me to settle. He actually told me "you're not that injured anyways"-just what you want to hear from your own lawyer. Unfortunately I settled after fearing he would not represent me well if I made him pursue the case in court.This was after he told me that I would be responsible for all his costs if he wasn't able to get more than the ICBC offer and he actually asked me to verify my bank account to assure him I had enough to pay his fees. Nice lawyer eh? My back pain is worse than ever now and I have nothing to show for it, a mediocre settlement of which Wes and his team took over half. Please don't make the mistake I did, look elsewhere. BTW..those 5 star ratings look suspicious...his staff maybe?

I've used him for a car accident vs. ICBC several years ago and received a very healthy settlement, and used him again for an assault that just concluded in early 2015. I wouldn't change a thing about him or his team. He is upfront about everything and calls it like he sees it. Always available to answer questions by email and even gives clients his personal cell #. I would definitely recommend him to anyone including family and friends (and already have)

I don't know what they're talking about as Wes Mussio was a great lawyer for me. His staff was friendly, efficient and very punctual at all times. I did not find Wes or any of his team to be arrogant in any way. The Mussio Law team were all very informative and very nice. Wes Mussio office is totally unorganized. Paralegals have no clue what to do, they start working and than they quit, another come and here we go again. Erick, Wes's is one of the worst people who practice the law. I was their client for two months. After I complain that they hadn't done a single thing for me, I was told not to complain because they have 300 other clients. I replied back: couldn't care for your 299 clients, I was paying you, so I will fire you. After two days found new lawyer, and never regret leaving that lousy law firm. Save your trouble people and find a decent law firm.
