I hired Mr Jones in my foreclosure defense for his credentials and self proclaimed excellence. He charges nearly twice the going rate of similar attorney's. I was willing to pay because of his credentials. For example he is a graduate of the Air Force Academy and was a former Fl state congressman and senator and was President Clinton's nominee for the secretary of the Air Force in 1998. Impressive ha? I thought so.

After paying Mr Jones $8000 he was able to negotiate a waiver of deficiency with $3000 cash for keys in exchange for my consent to judgement. The problem is he turned my case over to his newly hired VERY inexperienced associate who passed the bar less than a year prior and was working her first real paid job as an attorney for less than 5 months and she screwed up royally. She signed, without me ever seeing it, a consent to judgement that contained the $3000 cash for keys provision with no time limit for the bank to pay. In essence an open ended contract. I was repea
