This was my lawyer for but she did not serve my court case in my best interests. I had issues with child access with my special needs children and I provided a letter from their council which never made it to my court file. This affected the outcome of my case and the damage was irreversible for my children's lives.

This lawyer extracted a deposit from me during our FREE consultation. Then produced a a rudimentary document that was useless.‘I reported her to the law society in 2016. She works in the grey area of lawyer ethic. The only reprimand the law society could issue was the use of a disbarred lawyer to assist with my case. She never got involved after the initial free consultation. Her legal assistant and disbarred associate were the only people that would return my calls. After several months I turned to another lawyer and started the process all over again. I handed this new lawyer the document generated by Davies’ assistant. It was a useless accumulation of information of my legal position.

This lawyer has unethical and fraudulent billing practices, please keep track. This lawyer is combative with her own clients. This lawyer will reassign you to a variety of associates to avoid accountability. This lawyer and her team are unfamiliar with procedure outside the routine and local. This team will give you the silent treatment. This lawyer will refuse to meet with you. This lawyer will add stress, reduce confidence AND VERY IMPORTANT: THE LACK OF TANGIBLE PROGRESS IN YOUR CASE OVER A PERIOD OF MONTHS OF ONLY FALSE STARTS WILL MAKE YOU LOOK OVERLY LITIGIOUS AND HURT YOU IN FUTURE LITIGATION AND MAKE YOU VULNERABLE TO COST CLAIMS FROM FUTURE OPPOSING COUNSEL.

HORRIBLE HIGHWAY CRIMINALS! Every second day they asked for money. I spent over thirteen thousand dollars for some mysterious work. I never got my custody settled and now have to self represent. Do yourself a favour and seek work from another law firm, don't go with this one. They will bleed you dry and leave you hanging.

I would say she is a good lawyer I ever seen. sharp and get to the point, not wasting time, clear and logic. intelligent and knowledgeable. although she is not longer my lawyer-because I did not have enough money to pay her at that time, I just honestly say if you want to win, you go to her, it will be better if she has stronger assistant. cheap lawyer you need to pay as well, but if could not get thing done right, will be a waste, compare waste to expensive, I go for expensive. if she can plan strategy with client, that will be a great bonus, and tell client how to prepare own doc so client can make payment by reducing time. so she will be able to serve client at the end of excellent faith..well nothing is perfect,she may hopefully adjust her stakeholders engagement management and make clients happy and she happy with higher venerable name

A great overall lawyer. Tanya has been handling my case for the last 18 months and I don't know what I'd do without her. She has helped me keep my house and retain custody of my two small children. She is tough as nails and a nightmare for anyone going up against her. I would recommend Tanya Davies to anyone in need of a solid family lawyer.

Tanya is a knowledgeable lawyer, if knowledge is all that you desire and you need nothing else. She is very rude to her clients and has 'screamed' at me via email multiple times and on the phone. She does not follow instructions; her materials were riddled with errors (for which I was charged); she fought about Invoices constantly; and held my deliverables hostage. I strongly believe that she has made decisions and recommendations knowing that these would be contentious to the other side for no other reason that continuing to fight so that she could get a paycheck. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere unless you have a lot of money to waste on an argumentative, angry lawyer, that loves to fight and does not listen to you, respect you, or treat you with an pebble of compassion. Listen to the other reviewers here so that you do not get burned by her and her glamourous reputation which is, after all, a reputation and not reality.

Tanya has been my boyfriends lawyer for 2 years. While it does cost she is incredibly dedicated to our file. My boyfriend is being put through the ringer as a father and she has been so honest and supportive. We take her advice, direction and follow the law. We stay honest and inform her of everything. We hide nothing. She has proven brilliant over and over again and although one day I hope I can forget her email address and phone number, I'm truly grateful for retaining her expertise. She fights for only what is proven best for the kids and will always be honest with you in every scenario. Mother/father/grandparent... it doesn't matter if what is best for the kids is you. Amazing and I love her dearly for everything she has done for us.

I had a tough time with this lawyer. She is a weak communicator, incompetent in a bit complicated cases (Only interested in routine cases) and you have to run after her to get what she is supposed to do for you. I had to send her multiple emails to ask for the final file we worked on during our mediation session which you expect that your lawyer asked a copy at the end of session. I was charged for all the emails communication. Yet, she knows very well how to bill you. I wish I had taken advise from some of the people who had the same concerns in this Lawyer Review site and did not sign a retainer with her. Make sure you read the retainer completely before you sign it, although I do not recommend her to anyone.

Seemed to be more partial to defend ex-wife's interest then my own. This was my first time ever in court. I was told by Tanya that only my ex-wife and myself with the lawyers could attend. Meanwhile my ex-wife brings her entire family to court--apparently it was allowed, and I was left unsupported. In the end, I had to switch to another lawyer.

In my opinion, Tanya Davis has to be one of the most unprofessional people that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. She was out of her depth, rude, dogmatic and at times, it felt like I was dealing with opposing counsel, very bazaar! She did not listen! Every time I communicated with her, it was a battle and it made an already extremely stressful situation, even more stressful. In my opinion she appeared completely de-sensitized towards my situation and biased towards my Ex. She is expensive with little results. I lost trust in her when I saw the lack of progress and mounting costs, so I ended up having to appoint new counsel. I strongly recommend NOT using her.
