Divorce is ugly & emotional. What impresses me the most about Dale is his ability to present you with the facts, probable outcomes & risks associated with each choice. He does a fantastic job at removing emotion so you can make the best decision & course of action possible. I had a very difficult settlement, with a complicated cohabitation agreement, & he was able to maneuver through it to get me a favourable outcome. His knowledge is incredible, & I believe he provides great advice. His hourly rate is extremely reasonable, compared to other lawyers of his calibre. At no time did I think he was trying to prolong the settlement to "pad his hours." Only criticism is he is busy, & sometimes takes a few days to respond. He is very well respected at the Durham courts, which goes a long way. He knows the judges & how they typically will respond & decide outcomes, allowing him to put together a strategy based on the judge & your circumstance, if you end up in court. Highly recommended.

Dale and his staff have been assisting me with a Family Law matter over the last month. Dale took the time to understand my situation and provide me with sound Legal direction. Dale has a very compassionate demeanor which made the legal process much easier to understand and definitely less stressful. Dale provided outstanding representation for me during a high conflict separation. I found myself in a very complex situation to which Dale was able to navigate and provide the necessary attention to detail required for such an extreme task. Dale was fair with his rates, charges, and was reasonable when anything needed addressing. I enjoyed his sense of humor and it was clear he’s compassionate, family-driven, and is a good person to be associated with. Also, it was clear that he is well respected by the courts and I perceived that to be an advantage in the proceedings. I was informed he’s added some additional administrative personnel to help improve communication, which would have been my only minor criticism. Dale is very direct and try’s to resolve issues quickly. Overall I was happy with Dale's representation and I would recommend him to anyone that needs someone to navigate them towards a good outcome.

Let's face it, there is rarely a perfect outcome in family law when parties struggle with seeing eye to eye with each other. Dale and his entire team helped us navigate a very complex family law system to settle a very challenging family law matter; surprisingly to the agreement of both sides. As far as I am concerned that's about as perfect as it gets. His team is focused and professional but at the same time quite compassionate which I think is what is missing in this broken family law system. Dale is a dedicated lawyer with a fantastic team who actually sincerely care!

I hired Dale after my separation case went no where for almost a year. Before I went to see Dale I didn't think I'd have a case. Dale and his team gave me confidence and knowledge. Dale is very honest and very ethical. My ex had a VERY aggressive lawyer and Dale was able to standup to them and got me everything I wanted plus without going to court! Dale made me feel like more than just a client. I consulted with another lawyer first who told me I had no case and it could not be done. Then a co-worker referred me to Dale Turner. Dale gave me his expert advice including the pros and cons, accepted my case and we won big!! Dale worked his "magic" in the court room; he is confident, has a way with words and knows his stuff. I found he truly cares about people, which is a quality I don't think is often found among lawyers. I appreciated that he resolved my matter as quickly as possible instead of going around in circles to cost more legal fees. Dale is really busy however you can be certain he will get the job done well for you!! His legal assistant Wendy was reliable and always there to help and offer support. I just recently went through a very difficult time in my life and thanks to Dale and Wendy I managed to get through it with very little stress. I was totally lost and didn't know what to expect when I walked into Dales office. Mr Turner managed to resolve my family matter in a very short period of time. He was my second lawyer for mr matter. My previous lawyer charged me over $6,000.00, and accomplished nothing. I have read all of the other reviews and I did not ever experience any level of unprofessional behaviour. Both he and his clerk were on top of things at all times. He is very busy, but still provided exceptional service. I would highly recommend this firm. Thank you for all of your hard work Dale and Wendy!

Dale is amazing. Dale puts forth 100% on everything that he does. He has helped me tremendously and I will be forever grateful. He answers his phone personally, so it is always one on one. I've personally seen other lawyers at court come up to Dale after some of our motions and compliment him on how well he did. He has stood up in court as if he was the parent of my child.
