The most lazy attorney I've ever encountered! Maida was beyond disappointing. She promised the moon and failed to deliver any results. She ill equipped me to go to mediation and then before court advised me to settle on what the mediator suggested outside of court which was so far from what she promised. She didn't even try to go to bat. She told me there was over $1000 in my retainer when I inquired. When she didn't deliver any results I told her her services were no longer needed and requested to be refunded for the remaining balance. I was fully expecting to get $1000 returned to me and instead she gave me a check for less than $500. When I called to ask why there was such a durastic difference from what she told me verbally, she responded by telling me since I was no longer her client she would not be calling me or giving me an explanation via email. I called twice and emailed twice over two weeks requesting an invoice. I am so baffled by Maidas rudeness and unprofessionalism.

This lawyer charged me over $6,000 and never accomplished anything. She does not keep you informed and withdrew from my case with no notice not even a phone call because the retainer balance went below $1,000. She does not follow through and has no compassion. She blames the other attorney for all delays. I hired a woman lawyer thinking she would have some compassion for another woman. Not the case she is cold and takes advantage of you. I hope this saves just one person from making the horrible mistake I did in hiring Maida Farrar.
