Lied to me about getting to work now. A week of no contact he lost interest as my case was only worth 1$ million. He charged $500/hr wouldn't file the Motions that I suggested. One opposing attorney call discussed where to park downtown. He ran up my bill to $20,000 then tacked on another $10,000 for trying to collect.

Do not hire John Tatlock. He outright lied to me when he indicated that the court would look at financial resources when determining alimony and child support. My ex is a multi-millionaire and I pay her close to $6,000 per month for alimony and child support because she was a stay at home mom when we were married (but making $65k annually in passive income that was not considered). He prepared everything last minute, failed to meet with me prior to mediation, did not know the details of my case, and charged WAY more than he should. He never incorporated any of the changes I made into my separation agreement and parenting plan because he printed the changes out on paper rather than using Microsoft Word to track the changes.

John Tatlock represented me in a Contempt of Court case against my ex-husband (he was not paying according to our divorce decree). Not only did I not get any time to refute my ex-husband's perjurious statements, they purposedly racked up extra fees to the tune of 50K (exactly the amount I had coming to me on a lien against my ex). It was last bit of money I had in the world and the extra fees (I paid approx $25k, the extra was $50K) have been sold to an aggressive collection agency who has garnished my wages and charges me 18% interest. Beware! He sucks you in and bullies you for the extra retainer right before you go to court (you are stuck). I did more work on my case than his paralegal! Now I am broke, my ex has gotten away with murder and my life has been plunged into poverty. He explored avenues he shouldn't have (that cost me more) and even missed an opportunity in court to have my legal fees paid for by my ex. I am screwed and have to declare bankruptcy. I am devastated.
