I was referred to Mr. Panzer by my EAP. When he called me for my free 30 minute consultation he would interrupt me and just wanted me to summarize. Our conversation was about 2 minutes. He said he couldn't take my case nor refer me to a divorce lawyer. It was as if I just spoke to the wall, I got nothing from the consultation. I don't recommend him at all.

I cannot speak to his knowledge as a lawyer. I will say that he does not listen to his clients, he constantly interrupts them and does not listen to their questions or concerns, and he is rude and abrubt. If you have options besides S.Panzer, I highly recommend NOT using his services. Wholly dissapointing and unprofessional.

I had been given Mr. Panzer's contact information through the Law Society Referral Servce. It was on a Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. when I called. He promptly answered, but was very abrupt. When I had asked him a "based on your previous experience" question related to my situation, he told me "that was beyond the scope of this call". Free initial consultation of 30 minutes my a** - more like five and get you off the phone as quickly as possible. Honestly, if you don't want to answer the phone at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday, have the answering service pick it up and call the (possible) client back the next business day. Seriously! If I have to retail a lawyer, it will NOT be him. You'd think you'd want to be professional and willing to give someone time if you have not previously had any prior experience with that individual. Definitely it was not a pleasant experience.

Stephen Panzer. Is a terrible MAN-Lawyer and should not be allowed to practice. I had to do all the running around for documents from courts, he couldn't even make my case in front of the judge who ultimately told Mr Panzer to sit down. Not only did i have to pay him for his creative over billing, but when i asked for my file and documents back once I fired him. He refused, and made me pay for each copy in the file at .25 cents a copy for over 900 pages,before releasing my original files. I then had to take him to court for his creative billing of over $20,000 which i am happy to say the Judge had figured his billing was also high, and I was compensated a portion. He does not represent well in court, and was rude to my family and very dismissive, especially to my elderly parents or anyone came to support me. Stephen Panzer is not a Lawyer in my opinion,he is hustler. I hired another lawyer, we won, and it cost me 10% of what Panzer charged Beware!!!

Not a very good lawyer to represent you. He took $6000 as retainer money but never contacted me to update with the case in 18 months. Now he says that the case was resolved in my favour 3 months ago but he just got around to contact me and I owe him anther $1000. In fact, I asked for the case update and he responded after a week's delay. I wish I had known about his lack of respect for his clients.

Mr. Panzer is a bad lawyer. He is dishonest, incompetent and with my case, as a plaintiff lawyer, made such a mess that I had to fire him and hire a real lawyer. I believe Mr. Panzer was in fact, working for the defense council and their employer, an Insurance Company. He did not know his way in court and everything seemed to go wrong with him. Beware!!!!
