Mother took my daughter out of the country. It was a difficult case and Carlo took billed me $2K/month over about 4 months to eventually tell me "I should find another lawyer." Having slowly realized her lack of expertise with her continual spelling errors, brutal lack of knowledge (no mention of Hague convention or Parent coordinators - a cornerstone to my actual case later with a good lawyer), and near the end her attacks against me by calling me a stranger to my daughter (near the end it appeared she was on O/C side - was shocking), I would strongly suggest asking for references, especially if for child custody, and double especially if it is complex and requires a broader set of knowledge than just a local divorce scenario. But ask for references and she is well aware who I am and would be more than happy to supply any information to support what I stated above...
