My son retained Marc Lakin with a $1500 fee. Lakin went to court today for the first time, told my son that he had discussed with me that the fee was going to be $5000 for his case. Mark Lakin NEVER had a convo with me about a higher fee. Conveniently he had my son bring $500 for bond money, which he didn't need, so Lakin had him give it to him. When I called him about this higher fee and why he had LIED to my son, he told me to go to hell, he quit and hung up on me. He is the most unprofessional attorney (if you can call him that) that I have ever seen or heard of. This afternoon he generated a bill charging over $4000 for text messages...REALLY...you shady thief..maybe if you had professional phone conversations, texting wouldn't be necessary. (for the record you asked me to text you!) MARK LAKIN BELONGS IN THE LAWYER HALL OF SHAME!!!!

Want your money and don't spend time finding out what the problems are. Talk like he cares but do nothing. Don't have people skills and very unprofessional. Very dissatified and unhappy and still got to go back to court and he want even talk to you.Get to court and don't say the right things. To busy trying to get a lot of business/clients just to get there money and not respectful @ all. I'm so disappointed and unhappy with him.I've wasted my money and time and don't know what the outcome will be because this is an innocent person that don't deserve any of his bad treatment. Greedy and I could so more but I must go and pray and ask God to touch him to help when it's needed the most. Please Jesus!
