Alicia represented me in a very long divorce and custody case. She was professional, friendly, honest and helpful throughout. She always made me feel comfortable despite how emotionally exhausting the process was, and it was reassuring knowing that I could e-mail her if anything came up. She always provided me drafts that I could review before sending in final legal documents or responses to opposing counsel, which I found super helpful. Alicia was always prompt to reply and respectful. I appreciated her advice and dedication to my case and would certainly recommend her!

Alicia Sawka a.k.a. “The Sausage” is as annoying as she is dim. She’s as dumb as a stump and when she opens her mouth, she creates more problems. She has marginal professional knowledge and struggles which costs you more money and attains unfavourable decisions

She’s terrible...honestly the worst lawyer in Winnipeg and there’s some pretty terrible lawyers out there. Pretty sure she doesn’t know the law as she keeps asking what you want to do without providing any guidance or knowledge in what can be done on your part. She doesn’t fight FOR you, she’ll fight WITH you the whole time. She makes you feel as though you’re not important and are just there to collect money from you. She’ll drag the case out as long as possible to charge you more money. You’re better off representing yourself than retaining her as your lawyer. If you’re up against her and you have a 13 year old intern as your representative, you will win. Guaranteed.

After going through two other family law lawyers Alicia was by far the best lawyer I had. She took care and put thought into my case. She was great when communicating with the opposing lawyer. She didn't back down and was exactly what I wanted. I have, and will continue to recommend clients for her.

Can come across as being a little condescending but overall is very smart. She works hard and does so in a timely fashion. Will tell you all of your options with pros and cons and lets you make an educated decision. Has a good team of senior and experienced partners and in a small office. Does not seem to overbill. Overall a competent lawyer to work with.

The worst lawyer in Winnipeg. She was not prepared in court and made big mistakes. Very lazy, incompetent and lacked in knowledge. I could have done a better job representing myself.

Alicia Sawka did nothing to assist me. She was intimidated by the opposing lawyer and was afraid to speak the truth in court. She decided I should not receive an honest equalization of assets and I ended up paying my ex-husband when he owed me money. One Winnipeg's worst lawyers.
