I had a 30-minute consultation with Kelly. She was right to the point and yes, very blunt. (Somewhat rude but I'm not overly sensitive) She advised me of her retainer fee (She is pricy) and I agreed to the amount. She gave me a to-do list of items I needed to gather and organize. I must have spent two nights preparing it. When I returned to deliver the documents, the receptionist told me that Kelly will no longer be taking you on as a client. No reasoning. Still to this day I have no idea! Looking back, I'm sure glad I did not retain her! She would have been toxic to my case.

Trust me when I say, she is NOT worth a dime. I had her a few years back for a very complex matter. She had no desire to really help. She sounds great at the beginning but it's all lip service. She is truly a low-picking-fruit lawyer. Lazy, lazy, lazy. She dumped my case as soon as we got a Financial Auditor involved because she didn't "see it working out", after he questioned her response time in an email. She is not client centred whatsoever.

Kelly may appear to be a little blunt but she doesn't want to waste YOUR time which in turn is YOUR money! Separation and divorce is not a pleasant time in your life even under the best of circumstances. Have recommended to friends and appreciated how conscious she was with my money.

More the disappointed in Kelly. Her staff are horrible communicators and disorganized. Be prepared to have calls ignored. Kelly herself seems ok at first but quickly lost hope in her. She's all talk and very little action. Seems to me like she has very little feeling or concern for her clients.

She was a complete waste of money. She appears confident with her game plan but makes many errors along the way. I was VERY poorly represented in court. Once I hired a forensic auditor, she wasn't able to work with him and handle the case. She really wanted me to settle and I was confused as to why. She's a low-picking-fruit lawyer. Wants your money for the easy stuff then she checks out once things get complex. Very sad that she is in business.

Was very compassionate with my situation and new the opposing team was going to be a pain came out better than I thought in 2013. Now in 2015 back to see her for continuing issues that she helped with in 2013. She is blunt straight and to the point. Will work until she gets her fair way. Knows when the opposing team is scrambling. I have recommended her to about 5 other people and they have all been pleased.

Kelly demonstrated integrity and perseverance in addressing my situation with the other parties lawyer. I appreciated her advice and the timely manner in which she and her staff responded to my questions during this process. I would highly recommend Kelly in a family law situation.

Kelly was a good help. She was aware of my tough financial situation and kept her fees reasonable. She truly cared about me and my children. I did feel she was too accommodating to the opposing lawyer but one must remember they are all buddies. I would recommend her as a good lawyer.
