If I were being taken advantage of when others beyond my breadth of understanding, resource, and maybe even resolve were trying to debase the structure of my value system, or otherwise devalue my investment(s); then here is a firm, and her a lawyer quite capable of rendering hypothetical harm reasonably done away with, promptly. If not for this lawyer I would be broke(r), and (less) self-aware, as well as, over taxed! I think she can more easily switch from the legal language that learned Latin speakers learned once upon a time, in a land far, far away; to the limited vocabulary of someone such as myself who is probably very average, and trying to convince oneself (as any self-respecting person would) of his, or her inherent goodness. I am very pleased with the level of service I received. I live out of town. Ms. Mathis offered to schedule an appointment on a Sunday to accommodate my visit to VA over the weekend. The counsel I received pertaining to my situation was better than I expected. I will be using her again in the future.

Michelle was awesome! She took the time to understand the entire situation and answered all my questions and concerns personally and timely. My minor child was involved in this case and Michelle made an appt just for my child to get to know her and prepare her for the court date. She was on top and ahead of everything. I feel like she really cared and I was not just "another case". I have never felt so completely supported and well taken care of. I can not thank her enough for being there in my time of need.

Michelle was a pleasure to work with, she was easy to talk to and she most certainly helped me out in my recent child support hearing. After she helped me helped me keep my ex from raising my child support, she did some research and found that I can actually have the support lowered.

Michelle went beyond the call of duty and did an excellent job when handling my complex civil and criminal case that involved a protective order and assault and battery charge. Michelle also helped me deal with my condominium association by writing a letter detailing my side and explaining the false accusations, when my accuser tried to have me evicted my condo.
As a solo practitioner, she is able to avoid the politics and hourly billing quota requirements of a large law firm and concentrate on the client's needs. She always returned my and opposing counsel's correspondence and calls in a timely fashion, which is often not the case with other attorneys.
