Dealt with an high conflict and violent co parent over the last year and she was amazing! She knew all the steps to take and maintained her grace even with threats from the other parent. She was always prepared and eased my anxiety before court. My documents were filed and sent quickly and in the end we achieved the result we wanted. The office was beautiful and very close the court house, she would have her assistant take paper work over to file within an hour of our meetings. Highly recommend!

Sheri has been a fantastic lawyer to me over the years. She helped me unwind a very complex marriage financially. She was very detailed and thorough and this allowed me to 'come out on top' in my opinion. She also has acute understanding of the narcissistic spouse and how to manage a divorce from one effectively. One approach is to ram straight ahead which often only feeds into that type of spouse's ego. Sheri instead recommended smart and quieter approaches that were so effective. I know most of us want to feel like they are going to crush an ex and hire lawyers to do that without getting what we want in the end. Sheri is smart, effective, unassuming, and gets the job done. Well worth the money I have spent. And let's get real - divorce costs a ton of money. Get a smart and savvy lawyer like Sheri. You won't regret it.

High conflict divorce. Sheri was excellent. She continually was able to separate the emotional/anxiety factors from the nuts and bolts of family law. A very pragmatic approach. Where she really shone was in the courtroom setting. Organized and on top of every detail. Highly recommend.

I hired Sheri to divorce a spouse with a borderline personality disorder (BPD) and to say the proceedings were acrimonious would have been an understatement. Sheri stayed the course and provided encouragement even when I wanted to abandon the fight. She remained calm and pragmatic despite dealing with a dishonest and vindictive self-represented opponent.

She is absolutely terrible and I'm embarrassed at how long I stuck it out before getting rid of her in my divorce work. Not less than five different admin staff were assigned to my file over a year, the typos and shoddy work continued right to the end. Among other things it seems she cannot retain or work well with her admins. Absolutely of no value to me and I'd strongly recommend you seek alternative legal council. Very surprising that a firm such as DBB would keep someone of her quality around for so long.

Ms. Sheri Ferguson has been my divorce laywer for more than a year. As many of us know when you are on the front end of a divorce, emotions are high and it would be easy to make decisions and react based on that. Sheri brings a very balanced approach and offers sound advice - originally I wanted her advice to be more aggressive because I too was emotional, but now a few years in I see why she has taken the approach she has and I am so glad I followed her advice. She is practical, well respected by the mediator we are using, and intelligent. Unlike many other lawyers, Sheri specializes in family law and will be clear on what approaches work or won't work - thereby helping to best manage resources. I would not hesistate to recommend Sheri.

Absolutely brutal. Wanted a separation agreement, and was told I could have it in just over a week. Then I was told on the Monday, then I was told the Friday, then I was told early next week,.... To make a long story short it was a month, and never did get one. With no communication from her, I had to call, or email every time. Nothing had been started. I had to get another lawyer to do it. Wasted a month of my time.
