Allan was nice on the first meeting so I decided to hire him. After a while, I couldn't even ask a question that he doesn't get annoyed. He was rude and every single minute was charged. A short email with 3 sentences costed me 15 minutes of his expensive charge. I don't recommend this lawyer. Ask around and see if anybody can recommend a decent lawyer. He's an added stress to your already stressful relationship.

From my first interaction with Allan, I found him to be very professional. In particular, a few items stand out:
- honest and up front about the cost
- timeline for a resolution in my particular matter was spot on
- always got back to me when he said he would, in a timely fashion and I never had to chase him
- he gave me sound advice and always made sure I understood the matter at hand, prior to executing my wishes
I would recommend Allan, without hesitation.

Allan and his team saved my life. I still remember the scary feeling of the unknown. What happens next? Am I about to lose everything? Will my friends and family judge me? Did I fail in life?
These were the exact feelings. After sitting with 10 lawyers (yes, I can name all the law firms if necessary) I felt like I was just brought in for a quick consult and out the door. No one really wanted to listen. It was just "Fear" and more "Fear" instilled in me without any specifics, details or even processes as to what happens next.
With Allan it was totally different. It was like I was speaking to a friend or a brother. It was black and white. No sugar coating it. He laid out what the potential outcomes may look like but would have to review the case. You've hired me and my team to represent you and that's what we do. I went to the court house to ask some questons about a divorce. I left not sure what to do and saw AMGLaw sign and thought I would pop in to see if they could guide me. Everyone was friendly and helpful with regards to the reception. They got me to speak to the Lawyer Allan Goldstein, He heard me out and gave me options. He told me what he would do and how much everything would cost. No one would do anything for free, So I would expect more services to cost more money. I got all the answers I wanted and needed and was guided in a very professional way. I never felt pushed to do more or to spend more money. Allan clearly explained what my options were and walked me through potential outcomes. I would recommend Allan to others. Great service and quickly tended to.

I was lucky to be referred to Allan by a family friend and was surprised and impressed with his candor, problem solving ability and knowledge and experience with family law. When I expressed worry about lengthy and expensive court proceedings, Allan clearly explained what my options were and walked me through potential outcomes. At no time did I ever feel that he was acting in self-interest or lacked empathy for my situation. By the questions he asked and the courses of action he recommended, it was easy to see that he was working to find the most reasonable and fair solution to rewriting my divorce and separation agreement. Suggesting less expensive routes to mediate and resolve my marital difficulties was appreciated. He came up with cost effective solutions that I had not considered. I was impressed by his integrity and professionalism. Thank you Allan for reminding me that my daughters feelings and well-being are the most important part of this divorce.

I highly recommend Allan for family law issues! He was very knowledgable and had a personal approach that's most lawyers seem to forget about. He is not there to waste your time or money but rather to give you the most professional advice you can get. He was there for me throughout my separation process up until my divorce and I have nothing but good words to say about him and his staff! When you reach a point in which you need a family lawyer – you need the best! And he is definitely the best!

I highly recommend Allan if you are involved in a family law case. Allan was referred to me by a work-mate of mine. Boy am I glad that I chose him. My case was finished much faster than I thought it would be and I got almost everything that I wanted. I have seen some of the other reviews of Allan on this site and I don't understand the comment that he has a lack of empathy or that he is all about money. It is true that Allan won't take on the role of psychologist. Maybe that makes it seem like he lacks empathy, but his job is to handle legal matters. He does that extremely well. I never felt like he didn't empathize or truly understand what I was going through. As far as money is concerned, yes, he is expensive. But you get what you pay for! An excellent and experienced family lawyer is expensive. In short, hiring Allan was well worth the cost. I highly recommend Allan and his team.

Knowledgeable about all areas of family law. Communicates clearly with clients, counsel and the judge. knows when to negotiate and when to be aggressive. Work is top notch. Expensive but worth every penny!

Very aggressive lawyer at your expense. Misleading at your expense. Acts like everything is in your best interest yet it's for his wallet's best interest. Drops you as soon as it looks like you will lose & leaves you hanging on your own with an enormous bill. Left me paying other parties' costs twice due to misleading the courts and not returning communications from other lawyer.
