This lawyer is an old and out of date attorney. He is careless, forgetful. He files shabby applications and even forgot to submit critical forms.

I didn't hire him - got transferred without my knowledge or permission from his partner. He would add paternalistic to the complaints others have listed. AND - I discovered this after I fired him for his lousy manner - he knows little or nothing about the new BC Family Law Act, charging me obscene amounts to start an action instead of entering into collaborative resolution of my matrimonial issue. STAY AWAY!

Cost me a lot of money and did practically nothing for it. At times did what I asked him not to and and didn't do things I asked him to do ???

Mr. Fiddes is very knowledgeable and he most certainly was an outstanding lawyer in his younger years. However, he has become very forgetful and inattentive in the past few years. He doesn't seem to care anymore. He is also far too expensive. Not much bang for your buck at all.

I believe years ago, Mr. Fiddes was a terrific lawyer. Personally, I found him to be quite a character, however forgetful, disappointing and very expensive. Huge billing.

He knows the law. In a court case, the judge has asked him for advise on a law.
