Update due to Baldwin Law Firm's "CEASE AND DESIST" warning of "legal action against me." My opinion is to avoid hiring them. They never provided a written fee agreement during 46 days retained. After three weeks, my first bill was less then half the agreed flat fee I paid. After replacing them for poor service a month later, I received a bill at eight times the amount of the first bill which I disputed. In my opinion, they attempted to win a judgment without my knowledge. They lost their lawsuit against me in Fairfax GDC for lack of written contract, but appealed in Circuit Court and convinced a Judge to reverse the GDC decision because, based on a lawyer's comment to me after trial, I represented myself. They submitted my credit card information as evidence. My credit card was compromised and closed by my bank. Over 100 instances of warrant in debt type lawsuits demonstrate, in my opinion, the amount of time spent on former clients rather than current clients. Comment for more detail
