Andrew is a really great lawyer! He came to meet with me only once for all the information I could provide him about my case. The next time I seen his was almost a year later at my trial. He was professional and made me feel certain that my anxiety was normal and put me at ease with his knowledgable and confident presence when meeting me. Andrew is VERY direct and to the point with my case without providing many details to me over the lengthly time before trial
which was a bit concerning due to the adjournments. But he asked me to trust in his work. If you want to control your case, or know every single detail about the case this is not a lawyer for you. Andrew never provided updates unless nessacary to. This was great & caused me less stress I noticed after the trial was finished and he explained as his job to do. You can trust his work and his professionalism. he will hold to what is agreed and no surprises in courtroom. I had 21 charges dismissed. Absolutely great lawyer!!!

Horrible Lawyer who is working to get the LIFETIME ban on owning animals revised for Kayla Bourque. Look her up! She tortures animals (dogs) and has shown no remourse at all! This lawyer obviously puts the almighty dollar above doing the right moral thing. His actions to get this ban revised disgusts me.

Amazed he got such a great rating from another client when my experience was the exact opposite. He wasted a lot of time 'judge shopping' rather than relying on a solid presentation of the evidence which was all that was needed, then after endless adjournments for the "right" judge the crown wouldn't show up and we'd be stuck with whatever judge sitting that day and nothing gained by the delay . "Right" judge or not its obvious when a lawyer isn't prepared and Mr. Bonfield did me no favors by deciding to wing it. Now I have to appeal my sentence in Supreme Court to undo the consequences of him floundering around mixing fact and fiction. For example his apologizing profusely on my behalf to the Judge for my breaching non existent conditions even the Crown never claimed I had or his stating his not being sure if my cpic documents were from the "same" cpic source as the RCMP database! The RCMP being the sole cpic administrators is NOT up for debate. Not his best work.

I got arrested for assault 5 days before my warrant expiry of a 3 year federal sentence. The crown was asking 6 months imprisonment (maximum sentence for summary assault) because I was still on parole. Andrew managed to get me a conditional sentence (sentence to be served in the community) out in time for Christmas with my family. He never got my hopes up or gave me any bs about the possibility of some jail but he took the time to get all the facts correct. He was passionate and thoughtful when addressing the judge. You can see it in a lawyers eye when they care about the outcome of a case and I could tell absolutely that he did everything in his power to get me the best sentence I could have asked for.
