My initial judge, being Justice Zisman retired and Justice Paulseth was in court for my motion hearing and just like that my case went from my ex/his partner being held responsible for tampering with court documents to remove my decision making rights and alienating my son to them walking away with no change in parenting time, increased child support and increased expenses. It has been over a week since the hearing and I am still in shock and no idea what to do next.

There is absolutely NO reason this "person" should be a judge. She should be ashamed of herself and put in jail.

Witnesses in her court watched her violate various laws including threatening a teenager and then instructed the court security officer to assault the teenager in violation to the teenagers human rights and rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This judge is incompetent and should be removed from the bench. She is an embarrassment to the administration of justice.

She is incompetent if not puposefully incompetent. A child was murdered due to her incompetence which consists of not reading materials,dozing off in court, bias opinions and attitudes and she is very anti parent and child. If the case involves parental alienation the alienating parent will always succeed in her courtroom i dont like the anti father label given to ber because i network with parents affected by this judge and there are cases were she is allowing a father to alienate the kids from the mother although yes majority of the cases are her doing this to fathers. If it is a CAS case the same bias applies so in saying that she is out to harm families and children. We are working on exposing her to politicians etc to get this child abusing monster off the bench. Judge doesn't give father's the time of day. Terrible Judge and doesn't even care about the facts of the case. It doesn't matter that the mother is a terrible parent, just the fact that she is the mother is enough for her to not bother listening to the father's side of the issue. Horrible judge and an embarrassment to the Justice system

If there was a 0 to rate this judge I would use it , She does not research the facts or read the evidence,She is biassed in favour of the children’s aid and her decisions are flawed! When will the many criticism of this judge be acted upon ? Lives are being impacted by her wrongful decisions ?Yes ,as others concur , she does not deserve to be on the bench !

Having the knowledge does not translate her into being a good judge and here is why. She won't apply the knowledge if it helps a man. And i say that as a man who has custody of the children, she has literally illegally aided the mother to avoid paying child support. She illegally imputed her income below minimum wage, when undeniable evidence of fraud was put in front of her (bank statements) she simply ignored it. even though the mother did not claim or allude to being disabled, this "judge" suggested to her that she goes and gets her doctor to write her a note of being disabled! that is directly suggesting my ex to commit fraud! when the ex had custody the judge bullied me into paying CS over the established table amount. and she was setting up the case to tilt custody in favour of the mother despite me being the care taker of the children. i agree with the other poster, the moment you see this judge ask her to recuse herself from your case.

she is biased against men, against grandparents and she gives reasons for he decisions which are unfounded - she obviously did not read the files, 4 boxes plus in our case but because she had a lawyer from a very prominent law firm she showed us - she did not respect the clra and return the children as is stated in the law and she has prohibited the children in our case from seeing their grandparents - she did not speak with the children who are of age but listened to the lies, and lies and more lies of the mother - the press should be involved to try this by media

A judge undeserving of sitting on the Bench. This women does not read the documentation and has ruled to place children in the hands of abusive fathers. She is also very CAS happy, lacks dedication and does not consider most of the impiracle evidence. Plus fines Mothers on Ontario Works sums over almost $10000 at a time incourt costs, to insure the are not able to appeal, until what they get from OW would take them 10+yrs to pay off, in order to see their childten. Unacceptable, unacceptable, unacceptable.

In her comments regarding a permanent placement for Katelynn Sampson, Judge Paulseth admitted that she did not read the file on Katelynn Samson. She is further quoted as saying that this gross failure was OK. She then gave her stamp of approval to the couple who proceeded to torture Katelynn to death. Had she even bothered to get Katelynn into court to see her, it would have been obvious - as medical evidence showed - that prior to Judge Paulseth's dumping Katelynn into the hands of her tormentors, this little girl was already showing signs of horrific abuse. My comments are based on readily available media sources.

This Judge us most predjudice judge against men that you can imagine. I will not go in a detail of my case but if you do get this judge it will be pretty much done deal for you if you are man. She has given custody to drug addict woman that killed her daughter and was not disbarred. She is disgrace to family Justice System. Be aware and try to settle with your other party.

Just google Katelynn Sampson, but she has not learned from the little girl's death, she continues to make irrational decisions. specially against men, she is an extremely biased feminist judge who absolutely hates men. I saw her terminate a father's access at a case conference just because the mother said she was "concerned" without any evidence whatsoever. she absolutely does not let a self represented man make his argument, she shuts them down giving none or vague reasons. in my case she never asked my ex to work, but stressed that I should continue to pay spousal support twice the normal period of a short term marriage without giving any reason. the best thing would be to ask her to recuse herself from your case as soon as you see her face.
