He knows the law very well and can manipulate the system to work in your favor. But he runs up billable hours without notifying you first, even after several requests not to, and he is more loyal to other attorneys than he is to his client. I felt that if it came down to a trial, he would not be ruthless with his colleagues to poke holes in their opinions even though he works for me, his client. I felt he made a huge mistake in judgment that could have been avoided if he had discussed this strategy with me in advance.
