ok lawyer for a first case, he'll give you good advice. He knows his stuff, but then gets busy and you don't hear from him for days. If its your first time at the can, he's ok. He's ok at plea bargaining for first time offenders. But, he plays games to make it seems as though you are getting a great deal. The more money you have the more he will work in your favor. Thus, he's in search of high profile clients. If you re-offend, not recommended as his pleas are good for first time offenders. After that, he's not very good at plea bargaining. Its all plea bargains. Crown wants their convictions to raise up the ladder, so plea bargains it is in the ontario system. Don't expect to take your case to trial, its guilty until plea and all about the convictions. He's good at knowing the ropes, but not very good at pleas, especially if you are stuck on stupid re offending due to troubled waters. If re offending or major crime, get a good plea lawyer or trial lawyer.
