I gave this crook a $10,000 retainer which he told me would take care of things,he went through that money faster than you could blink an eye,he made matters worse for me rather than better just so he could tell me he needed another $15,000 to keep going on,he would charge me $300 an hour for his assistants work which I caught him on.i walked in and fired his ass and kissed my money away.i went to Ted Kennedy and he handled everything like a professional should have done in the first place..Christopher Penty is a Crook and a scammer period.

After going thru three previous lawyers that just dragged on for two years:all the court dates and useless mediation for what should have been a fairly straight-forward divorce, Chris was able to get it done in a few short weeks, and to all parties satisfaction, without costing a fortune! We have used him several times since then for a variety of reasons, and have always been very happy with his services.

I wish I had never retained this lawyer. A real waste of time and money.....and trust. In the end, I took this guys account to taxation in Kelowna. It was reduced substantially after Master Young was finished with it - in May 2013. One of the MANY issues was that Penty billed his assistant's time at the same rate as his own -- at $300 per hour. Ask Penty for a copy of Kelowna Court docket number 91300... or request it from the Kelowna Court House directly. Dig deep with your own due diligence. You will get a real insight into this guys ways. Heads up.
