I was in a trial in 2008. I specifically requested no lawyer representing me. I was forced to meet with Craig Sicotte and I told him clearly I did not want legal representation. In my trial the presiding judge appointed him Amicus Curiae. Craig Sicotte should have professionally and respectfully declined citing my wishes to not be represented. I genuinely felt uncomfortable that a lawyer I specifically did not want representation from (any criminal defense lawyer) did not represent my wishes to not represent me in front of a judge. I cannot question his legal skills however I did feel uncomfortable and violated in that my legal right to not be represented was not being respected despite my decision to not have legal representation. I cannot give any negative ratings however when it comes to respecting my personal decision I was not respected. He should have politely and professionally told the judge he respectfully declined to honor my wishes.

After doing some exhaustive research we were fortunate to find Craig Sicotte to represent our loved one. His reviews read well and helped us make a decision to hire him particularly since we had no idea what to do or how to do it. We can honestly tell you that the reviews are entirely accurate. Craig is a skilled, hardworking, accomplished lawyer with a proven track record. His skillful professionalism gave us the confidence we needed during our anxious, vulnerable moments. We listened to everything he suggested and followed it to a "t". He always took the time to patiently explain the many things we were completely in the dark about. He is informative, personable and knowledgable. He made excellent suggestions and guided us safely through a difficult situation to the best possible outcome.
