Eryn is suing me for a bill I never received for a bad lawyer at her firm. $3211.68 (the final bill) + $1,500 in “plus probable costs” added before attempting to garnishee my empty bank account & when not successful, added another $500 to the bill and garnisheed my work. I sent her info telling her about the lawyer and the bill, but it came back to me unopened. She knew. A 20year common law, assets worth $1.5 million & support for our daughter. I ended up $17,000 in debt, paid her $40, 000 in fees and then paid a new lawyer $6,000 to finish after she quit before agreements were signed. She forgot to send documents & charged me, unprepared in mediation and refused medical be added to section 7 expenses saying, “Don’t Push it!” in front of the mediator! What lawyer tells you not to go for a basic section 7 expense outlined by the provincial government? The new lawyer got medical on section 7! She quit when some came in and didn’t tell me, so my daughter & I lived in poverty, waiting.

She proudly represents kiddie diddlers. This means she’s not out to win, she’s out to take as much money as she can because nobody else in town is greasy enough to take these clients. Sad but true. This was my experience.

Talk about Fiduciary Negligence.. 18 months, $40,000 of my parents money.. and what do I have? Nothing. No Divorce, No Custody Agreement. Nothing. In fact, I have less than I started with going into the Divorce.

If I could rate this lawyer minus ten, I would. However this site's lowest rating is 1. I agree with the other negative comments. This lawyer caused my family grief. She is not a nice person; unethical and is biased. Stay away.

Eryn was appointed to represent my daughter's interests in a shared parenting situation. She was very kind to my daughter, and was outstanding in ensuring her interests were well represented. Eryn was thorough, communicative and tenacious. I highly recommend her.

Divorce is hard, no question about it. In my case I was fortunate to have found Eryn, she had my back every step of the way especially considering I had an ex wife trying to take me for everything I had. I knew exactly where I stood with her and my divorce. Eryn was always contactable and would reply to emails in good time which I believe to have been very important during a very stressful time of my life. I needed someone to take on my ex wife and her lawyer, Eryn was just that, a true force to be reckoned with. Every court application was a success, without Eryn I do not think I would be in the position I am now, starting my new life without my ex wife.

I really meant it when I told you that I tell everyone that divorce sucks but I was lucky to get a really good divorce lawyer. You found the right balance of tenacity and empathy to get me through what was without a doubt the most difficult time in my life. Divorce was completely foreign to me. I had no friends or family to lean on for advice. Since then I have met a lot of divorced people. I’ve heard horror stories about legal costs and bad advice. Eryn gave me back my life after years of litigation. Her strengths are her tenacity, work ethic and organizational skills. She was tireless in her effort to clean up a mess made by my prior counsel. She is not warm and fuzzy because she doesn't want to charge for small talk. She gets to the point, communicates clearly, and tells you what she needs from you. She returns calls, keeps you informed and doesn't make promises she can't keep. So very, very impressed. Because of Eryn's diligence I was awarded more than $60k in back support that spanned 6 years (not an easy thing to accomplish). Mine was a very litigious divorce with support elements that had dragged on for years. Eryn was able to craft a game plan and accomplish in one year what my former lawyer was unable to do in 4 years. The Order she co-authored has stood up to repeated attempts by my ex to exploit loop holes. Can't say enough about this outstanding woman.

Had a knowledge of law. Poor communication, always busy and didn't focus on the technical points of my case. wasn't clear about the step by step process unless i emailed her which i was billed for. felt she was not a good Representative of males. Felt that she was not being my advocate and fighting for me. costing me huge amounts of money with no results. I believed she never took in to consideration the importance of certain factors which could have won my case but she did not include. All and all i would not recommend her as she was recommended to me and fell way short of this hard ball figure i was told she was. Now i am fighting on my own because she took all my money and i fired her because the defendant won on made up numbers. PLEASE LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.
